You have a great eye for the Smoky's. I love visiting there several times a year. Cades Cove is my favorite. You have really nice photos and I appreciate your sharing them. Have a nice weekend.

Fraud and Copyright Infringement Notice ~ Here is a quote from Kellimays's album commentary "just some photos taken all over the state of colorado and a few in south/north dakota...Many of the scenery photos to include most of the waterfall photos were taken from my moms Camera...I found them on her memory card and computer" end quote!!! Kelli's plagiarism and photo theft has been proven again and again and again, there are hundreds of stolen images in her albums!!! There is a conversation thread on our message forums with many many URL hyperlinks to the original photographers and artists websites and sources proving her illegal actions. I don't understand why her account is still active and her stolen images still on view on Webshots with her false claims of ownership! We recommend Kelli Mays account be terminated immediately by Webshots and all her albums removed from this website!! Here is the link to Kelli's album, please flag this page! ~ http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/555650423pvuvrI?track_pagetag=/page/photo/outdoors/scenerynature&track_action=/BreadCrumb/Album ~ and here is a link to the original photographer's site where Kelli gleaned and stole the images, then posted them in her albums claiming them as taken from her mother's camera! ~ http://www.ramblincameras.com/Cdscenicsth.htm ~ Thank you in advance for your help in protecting our copyrights and the copyrights of others, as well as improving the integrity of Webshots!

Say, John, May sounds like a plan! The wildflowers are outrageous that time of year. Speaking of Cades Cove, are you familiar with Parsons Branch Road? It exits the Cove to US129 (The Dragon), coming out at about Chilhowee Dam. Well, it has been closed for the last several years due to severe damage to the road from a horendous storm. Well, it is opening next month, and I can't wait to travel this scenic, isolated road one more time. Perhaps in June you might like to try it. We'll keep in touch. Fred

John, as much as I have enjoyed your photography from Great Smoky Mountains, I'm glad I could return the favor. Thanks so very much for your kind remark about "Cades Cove Sunrise," my POTD of several days ago. To say I have been overwhelmed by the response would be an understatement of gigantic proportions. I did want to reply to each member kind enough to comment, and let you know how much your approval and acceptance have meant to me. Again, thanks for helping make the day so special. Regards, Fred

Dear Lakelure; I am the Regional Director of Sales for a Hotel Management Group and we have a Cherokee, NC (Microtel) property. I am uploading our property photos to our Google site and was searching for some area photos to add that are specific, and breath-taking, to Western North Carolina. I came across your pictures. My Mom is a photographer and a member at www.photo.net. I don't know if you are on that site, but your work is amazing and you would be well-praised by other people who are as talented as you there. My original reason for writing is to tell you what wonderful work you have and such a gift for capturing on film such majestic beauty. I am wondering if your work has been copy written or if we could have your permission to use a photo so that people who are looking to visit this area could see what gorgeous backdrops we have in this location that we are blessed enough to call "home"?

HEY JOHN, I loved to look at your albums from my home in Wisconsin. I am from western North Carolina ( Haywood Co.) and those great views made me homesick for the mountains. Thanks rotaga100. check out my albums, I am making panarama's.

I would love to visit some of these places you have captured on camera. I noticed that some of your pictures you have listed the Lattitude and Longitude of the spot. I will be locating them on Google maps and Google Earth. How can we get the others?

Thanks for the "Barn" comments. I too have thought about revisiting some of the photo venues I've previously captured, mainly to get autumn shots. Sounds like fun!
