Donna, Thank you for the wonderful comments on our Dobes. I couldn't imagine life without them. We are keeping a female from our current litter, I'm just struggling with a name. I like Mia & Amelia, but she looks more like, well, a Havoc, Ruckus...LOL Hope all is well your way! Again, thank you!
Thanks for your message :)
congrats on the new boy ekkie and the baby girl
Leela isn't nearly as social as you imagine... she used to be when she was young but now she's a little more aloof and likes to do her own thing much of the time.
Laszlo is the very friendly one - he loves everyone that comes over
Hi Donna - Thanks for your invitation :-) Laura & Loriot are actually my parents' birds. They are Double Yellow headed amazons (Amazona Ochrocephala Oratrix, alternate name is Amazona Oratrix Oratrix). You have got quite a collection here! Enjoyed the visit. Will be back soon - Karin, Switzerland
Happy New Year to you. Thank you for your comments on my Meyers and Golden Mantled Rosella album. My Rosella was adopted, so we have no idea how old he is - and he is not hand tame. He makes the most fascinating noises!! My Meyers does tend to bully him if they get too close, but the Rosella can't bear to be in a different room to the Meyers. If we walk out the room with the Meyers on our shoulder, the Rosella will fly and sit on our head, and stay there whilst we potter around!!
Hey gal,
We really have a lot in common....Dobe's are my favorite breed, we raise Solomon Island Eclectus, Blue Headed Pionus, and also Black Headed Caiques! I haven't gone all the way through your sight yet but I would be willing to bet that we even have more in common!
Later,
Nome

Sorry I missed your comment. Scarlet is coming along. But reminds me of a Regal Queen the way she sits on the Throne.
