Dear kfccooksmom,
My name is Bernard Roberts. I love the pics you posted and would be delighted if you could send them to me. I am the head of the Parish Council in St. Joseph's Church, Bolaram, A.P. India and would like to use the pics in a Power Point Presentation of the Stations Of The Cross to be screened in our church. My email is bernardroberts@hotmail.co m. Any other Pics which can be used for Stations Of The Cross or even Adoration will be highly appreciated. Hope to hear from you soon in the affirmative. Thanks. Bernard
Lucee, I hope you are still around. Is your aunt still working on that grandmother's flower garden? I just now saw this message and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you before.
I finished the edges of my grandmothers flower garden by turning the top and bottom in and sort of slip stitching it all the way around. I left all the points on all the pieces on the big quilt. I have also made two other GFG's and on those I have just cut off the points and bound it like I would any other quilt making sure that I had enough rows of hex's around the edge to cut off without cutting into the flowers. This works well with quilts that are USED if you know what I mean.
My Aunt has a Grandmothers flower Garden that is all hand done too, she is trying to decide how to finish the edges, she has complete flowers on the 2 side edges and 1/2 flowers at the top and bottom, how did you finish yours? I was trying to tell from the photo but I can't really tell how you did it? Thanks, Jeanne
