Hello, hello, hello! I wanted to stop by and thank you for the comments you left on some of my photos, especially the bird photos. You asked in one comment if you could suggest that some birds I had labeled as "Harris" sparrows might be "House" sparrows instead, and I agree with you, and I thank you for your expertise!!! I'm an avid bird "photographer," but I assure you, I have lots of bird books to help me ID many of the birds I find with my lenses, and even with the help of those books, I sometimes get it wrong, and sparrows and some hawks are especially difficult for me! I always TRY to ID the subject of the pictures that I put on Webshots, but if I make a mistake, I am more than willing to change it - and I WILL change these little sparrows' name!!! Thanks for the visit, email, and comment, Audrey. It has been a busy few weeks with more work than I can reasonably expect to complete, and some good things happening with Webshots, too. I appreciate your comment on Tree Tops. That was a picture that just wasn't going anywhere, so I cropped it and played with it a little until I had something I liked, and this is the result. It's amazing what a stroll downtown will do for one's creative juices. I've been doing this for years, but it's easy to neglect something with which you're very familiar, especially if there are many distractions. The alleys are particularly productive, and I've found that to be true in many cites. Nights are good, too, but watch your back!
