Hi Kathy - I'll bet your Minneapolis friends will have a lot of shoveling to do come tomorrow morning. A strong winter storm could bring us up to eight inches of new snow. You are welcome, Kathy! If you'll let me know where I said it was featured, I'll find it for you. To answer your question: I do art when I'm in the mood and have time, I go to the nursing home once a month and play music and sing for them, I write whenever I'm inspired to do so, I usually write poems for people's birthdays, I usually make my niece an outfit at least once or twice a year, I some times crochet and/or knit when I'm resting late in the evening in front of the TV, I haven't quilted in a very long time, and I don't have a vegetable garden any more although I still do grow tomatoes and bell pepper in buckets, and of course I have flowers. My main passion is photography which I'm all the time taking pictures of one thing or another. I like staying busy, but can't do as much as I use to due to health problems. Have a nice day, sweetie! Hello, Kathy. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my flower collection. This is something I'm always trying to capture, especially in the spring. Fortunately, down here in Cuba our summer is nearly everlasting, with just a few cold front sneaking up on us every once in a while in Jan. and Feb., so our flowers bloom all year round. Dear Kathy, I enjoyed watching your beautiful photos, espcially the flowers and butchart garden in Canada. I have a plan to visit Canade this year, as my son lives and works in toronto, and we will definitely visit those gardens and take photos of my own. Have you seen in my albums any inappropriate shot? The Ws Staff write, in the email “Please do not reply to this email. We are unable to respond to individual replies”. Ws Staff is too busy in order to talk with me! Well, I’m a premium member. I pay for a Ws staff service! They MUST said to my WY my shot it was banned!!! Wy it’s impossibile to Ws Staff to explain to me, just to know the reasons about its communications UNACCEPTABLE ad OFFENSIVE? Well, I go away. I’m sad because on Ws I leave many friends. I have known from other members of Ws that have been cancelled some photo of pictures of Rubens and ancient sculptures because (taken in museums, also in the Louvre) they would “hit” the moral of some members of this site because they show nudity (in marble or watercolor or oil). This is simply RIDICUL! I love the old art! I dont like the integralism! Well, I NEVER have published any pornographic image, any nudity of childrens or adults, any violent image and in my shot you cant seen any sexually explicit content!!! My shots are in first architectural, archeological, nature and art shots!!! My people’s and travel’s shot can be published in any newspaper (I’m journalist, and I know very well what is possible to pubblish or not).

Hi Kathy, thanks for your nice comment. Am glad you are aware of Ray, he is such a nice guy. And yes, I know Randy Bray from Corvallis. We have tried to get together for at least a year if not longer. Him and his wife occasionally come here to the coast and we have tried to get together each time, but it seems either we're out of town or I was ill, and the same way when we go through Corvallis. But we stay in communications and are planning a get together soon. And as for Butchart Gardens, maybe we will make it next year, I certainly would love to visit there, as both Galen's and mine favorite subjects in photography are flowers and from what I have seen in yours and others albums, this would be the greatest place to have a photo op.
