Bonjour from Michigan, Kathy! What lovely photos you have. I am a widow now but my husband was French and we lived in Switzerland. Also had a golden retriever. I felt sad hearing about Sweet Sophie & hopefully Jimmy Steward and Gracie fill your days with happiness. As for your interiors, all I have to do is look at them to feel warmth, coziness, & elegance all melded so beautifully together. Observing the new photos of the dogs, I see you have changed your red armchairs & rug to brown leather and earth tones. Hats off to you for bringing joy to so many. Just felt it was time to let you know how much I appreciate your artistry, your style and your joie de vie!

Hi, Kathy...We are in your beautiful state of Colorado! Yesterday we went into Mesa Verde Nat. Park and took several tours of the Indian Dwellings. Very impressive! We are camped between Cortez and Mancos; headed next to Durango and then up into Ouray! Can't wait to see your (previous) wonderful,little city... Hello Kathy, it made me unspeakable sad when I read about Sophie's departure. She was such a gorgeous and beautiful Golden Girl. I know how it feels when a friend and a member of the family leaves...and it might take a long time to get over the loss. But your sweet Sophie will be always alive in your heart and in your memories. Never forget the short but good time you had together. Kathy, Thanks for sharing your beautiful albums. I visit Ouray (and Aspen and Vail and Grand Junction) as often as I can. My husband and I plan to "retire" on the "western slope" in a few years. I loved the photos. My girl Rae-Rae and I live in North Carolina, where her friends have given her a southern name, Raelene. I was gifted this bueatiful creature by my ex-husband and am so greatful she is in my life. Rae is 9 and is a British Golden like Sophie. I didn't know her as a pup, but I swear Sophie is a dead ringer from photos I have seen of Rae as a puppy. Thank you for sharing you album. It gave me an idea of how my girl must of been when she was young.
