My occupation is...

I am a musician (piano, clarinet and saxophone)and run a well established School of Music. I also play the organ in our local church. Before retiring from Further & Adult Education, I taught German and Spanish at a centre in Gateshead.

I went to College at...

Newcastle University, University College London, Northumbria University, Sunderland University and the Open University in that order.

My favorite foods are...

fruit and sweet things - semi-vegetarian

I'm currently reading...

I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon on a regular basis. The book I recommend at the moment is "Bird Flu - a Virus of our own Hatching" by Dr. Michael Gregor. It can be read online or downloaded for free from BirdFluBook.com.

Most recent movies I've watched are...

The only ones I have seen recently that I can recommend and would like to see again are "Amazing Grace" and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.

My pets are...

I love animals, especially cats and horses, but unfortunately cannot keep any due to allergies. I undertake animal welfare work instead.

My dream vacations would be...

A tour of Europe and North America, especially Utah and the Skagit Valley in springtime
