    • Hi Jerry, George here from Shetland. I was talking to Sharon, Sharwils on Webshots. She told me you lost a son last year, which must have been horrible. My mum passed away on Valentines day 08, she had Motor Neurone Disease. We knew it was going to happen, but that doesn't really prepare you for when it does. Mum hadn't ever been abroad, so we went to Tenerife in 06. Here's a photo of her sitting on a tigers back http://family.webshots.com/photo/2929274720041776371EHTNLa Sorry for your loss, Regards, George

    • I was born and raised in Crosby so it was a real treat to come across your photo albums. I left the area in 1965, but we still make it a point to spend a few vacation days there each summer. Saw a few nice photos of some of the Dhuyvetter family. Couldn't find a pic of my ol' pal Ray though. Is he still in Oregon? Haven't seen him in 40 or so years. Keep up the good work!

    • Hello Jerry, you may think this is funny, but have you ever read a poem or heard a song, and it touched your heart, and suddenly you felt you had a connection to that person, even if you would never meet them, and they would never even know you existed? Well, your work has done that for me. Thank you. Keep safe, Carol Jean

    • Jerry Thank you for ND photos. My wife(her mother and grandmother live in Crosby) and I enjoyed looking through your albums and then we reconized the old farm house on state route 50. We had done a photo shoot of that house on a visit several years ago and never got one from youe view point. You have a great body of work thanks for sharing and keep bring us ND.

    • Jerry: Thank you for your photos of Divide County ND. As a child I lived in Crosby where my dad had the Westland Oil bulk station along the track opposite the elevator and the Texaco station across the street. Now it is owned by family (SCOCCiO sp?) that bought it from my father. Dad also had a Delco Light plant store and installed many of the wind chargers, light plants, and wired many of the farm homes in the area in the early 40s. I was a kid then and helped him with much of that work. My mothers family homesteaded in Powers Lake, so I also appreciated the sun rise over the lake. Bob Stewart
