Thank you Nelson for your input on my Orton Effect album, just foolin' around to see what comes out of it. Maybe when and if you retire you and invest into an editing program and will have more time to play around with your photos. If you would like me to work on any of your photos let me know, I'd be happy to make some adjustments for you. Oh!, we got some snow here this morning....Jules

Glad to provide a little time manipulation! I was on top of the new 8 story parking garage. There is a lot of new doings in Tavares. http://www.tavares.org/ If you get the chance you should come up here to the 'lake district' of the Florida Alps and explore the Golden Triangle.

Hello Judge, How are you today? First I want to say...Being originaly from Okechobee and knowing what Cracker Cattle are and what a real cow dog is... I was so releived when I came across your pictures... I am designing a farm sight and needed some pictures or even better some video of a real cow dog... all I could find was heelers and to me... they are not a true cow dog they are a herder...This site said I was allowed to use other members photos as long as it linked back to you here... I wanted to ask you to take a look and let me know if it meets your approval and the way I designed my site for the cattle dog page... I am not pleased with the other dogs on the page... but until I can get better video/pictures They will have to do. Please let me know any links that would be good to post of any breeders you know or folks that sale or train... Our site gives free advertising to anyone who's disapline or business is in the feild we are promoting. We are a group of 20 disabled people (former cutters, reiners, farmer ect...) that help other persons newly disabled with finding a career change or just over all help with bills/food/ and anything the good lord will alow us to do with the help of sponcer's... So please Your Honor, take a look and and let me know if I meet your approval and any info you can help me with. We are only 2 months old but are logging in 60 to 150 visitors a day and growing fast... Would love to highlight you & your history...Im sure you have a lot of storys! God Bless, katie at www.rusticranchfarms.com and you may email me at lisa@rusticranchfarms.com God Bless You Sir Katie

Hi Nelson, looking at the newest issue of Nature Conservancy, I was pleased to read the article, "The WILD, WILD South, Florida's Cattle Country, a Legacy of Stewardship Endures." Adams, Lykes and Lightsey's ranches are pictured and written about. If you haven't already, you might like to see it. ... Judy

Hi Nelson, I thought you might enjoy my album on my hometown. The town was cleared and built my ancestors as early as 1816. I will be adding more photos once I get back out there and walk the streets and neighbourhooods...Jules

Thank you Nelson for taking the time to view my St. Jacobs Country Market album. I went there yesterday to take more photos and turned around and came home (just 10 min. from my home) as it was so crowded and parking was not to be found. I know you and Carol would enjoy this area where I live because of the countryside is so close to the city life. Once you retire and get more of a chance to travel north you should give southern Ontario a visit. We're just about one hour west of Toronto and one & half hours from Niagara Falls....Jules

Thank you for your response. I have enjoyed your albums for some time. It's good some one can get out and about and bring back the "light"! We are down to three Cats here on The Mountain <deep in the Lake District of The Florida Alps> and being 'over the hill' there is lots of lying about and shedding going on.

Dear Nelson, thank you kindly for your comment on my latest album. The numbers do multiply, don't they ... just look at your OWN! I was thrilled to encourage you earlier on, and am so happy you have a following who appreciate your "Real Florida" images. Sadly work and family are eating up much of my 'spare' time, so I don't get to visit very often. I hope you and Carol have a healthy and happy year! Judy

Hello Mr. Nelson. Glad you liked my remarks. That’s a very generous offer you make, and definitely appreciated. I doubt if I would be so fortunate to take you up on it. I just like the way you go about celebrating a part of history that you value, and to actually live it to the extent you accomplish. So - I appreciate your values in this respect very much. I have given the idea of visiting “the real Florida,” as you so thoughtfully called it. That’s the part I would appreciate most - by ninety-percent. The other ten-percent is there, it has interesting and ’good’ things to visit (obviously). But I choose the impression that stuck in my imagination from my grade-school days - which came from two movies: The Yearling and Distant Drums. Of course reality shapes my reasoning outside of my impressions. Your VERY nice albums really help seeing the other side of Florida, and they are definitely worth many visits. Thanks for your message. Best Wishes to you both. Gary in Seattle

peace. it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. it means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. Wishing you and your family Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year 2009, Best wishes always, Jules

Hi there good friend, I hope you had a good Easter. We had snow on Easter Sunday! We visited Coalhouse Fort to see if we could find anything Paranormal. To share what we saw, visit my Most Haunted album. To enjoy it as it is meant to be seen, watch it in slide show mode with special effects on, and your P. C. speakers turned on. Enjoy Colin
