Hi..I am back again. Been awhile. Been away most of the summer, then had a heart attack, had a stent put in, and am doing quite a lot better. Love going through your albums to places up high in the mountains that I could never climb, and like it that you always have your dog with you. Trying to catch up with a lot of my albums to post, then there is all my webshots friends albums to look at when I am supposed to be resting. You are a good friend, so had to put you in the top ones to look at and catch up with first.

Got a bit chatty about some of your comments on my folders,would like to respond to some of them and likely take more words than WS lets me speak. Thankyou so much for them, it is always appreciated when someone actually goes through your album, leaving comments along the way, even when not downloaded. The odd person on my friends list just says one word on the first three or four pictures, and you know they did not really look, as sometimes the word used isn't even applicable to the picture..or just a very short comment on the whole album..why bother?

Hello, I am Donna. Just thought we could get past this being annonamous thing, so introduced myself. Thanks for being one of my friends on Webshots. I love being able to get the finishing touches to the higher spots on our own trip, thanks to you. Some additional comments..1)we stayed at the Fairbanks Ice RV camp, and Hoa treated us like honored guest. Lots of pictures of the ice sculptures there. 2)when we were at miles canyon in Whitehorse, a young fella jumped right in, not once but twice from the bridge..included video in my album 3)was glad to be at Silver star that day. Am not really a snow person, but had never been up there except once last fall, and I wanted to see all seasons there. I was thrilled at the skiddoo ride, and the snow sculptures were very creative I thought. Yes, my choice was the igloo, with the dancer inside. 4) Jerry says we will likely make another trip to Yukon and Alaska again next summer (hopefully we will stay longer, and go earlier, and back later) Thanks for your friendship.

No Jpamusher - I have never worked in or near the oil fields. That "new" highway just gave me a huge access to a whole lot of Alaska realestate that I never had access to before. Getting off the road any distance in the winter can be tough, but there sure is a lot of beautiful "Christmas Card" scenery up that way.

Webshots sent me a letter of a apology for deleting my can can from Dawson.So it is full up to stay. Thanks for you comments on my albums..I love it when people say something about one of my pictures. Did your signs end up in any of my Signpost Watson Lake pictures?? I love going down to Hells Gate,and especially being able to ride back up. When on the bridge its a great place to take pictures. Some adults balk at crossing that bridgetoo, not just dogs.Did you carry him across? Yes, I know he is big.

You made comment on my Whitehorse can can girls..but meant to put it in Dawson Can Cans. Did you have a look? Was nice..you buy one night for $6 to get in, and you get your second night free. They have three seperate shows every night all summer..and there were two Diamond Tooth Gerities. Catch these pictures while they are on line..not sure how long they will be up. Webshots deleted the whole folder last week as innappropriate, but they are not near as bad as friends/good times/most viewed. Previously they were listed as Entertainment and theatre..as it is a live show. (no nudity) so I re posted under good times/friends also, where it seems panties/thongs etc is allowed. I just don't understand why my Dawson Can Can ones are deleted and my Can Can in Whitehorse weren't. Neither have nudity. Yes, you should have gone in while you were up there. Great food served at the end of the bar..and some gambling if you liked. See my profile if you want to email me about this.

made a comment about your picture of Miles Canyon..was there too, and have a look at my folder on it..some guy jumped off the suspension bridge into the gorge. It really is nice to see your dog in many of the pictures...and that is always nice to see a good friend sharing it with you. We drove 45 days in my Toyota Matrix..see you took a Subaru..fun. Thanks for your comment on the Whitepass train, and the blimp...yes, I think the blimp ride would be a hoot too..love the things like that, that scare the dickens out of me...

Happy Holidays! Thanks for visiting my Alaskan Cruise Inside Passage photo album. You've been up there so you know how beautiful it really is. That was early May of 2006. Once you start taking a cruise on a fabulous ship, it's hard to stop!!! Kathy
