  • I now live in Magnolia, TX., Born in Ellon we moved to Aberdeen in 1945. I was surfing webshots and checking out Newtonhill where we lived for 6 years, then checked out your photo's of Aberdeen On High. I could not believe that I was lookingt at a photo looking south showing a dome. This dome is on roof of what was the Clydesdale Bank at 62 Union Street. The back of the building looks on to Marks and Spencer, the front is the corner of Union Street, Market Street and George Street. I lived there for 18 years, the roof space surronding the dome was my playground.
