Hi John -- thanks much for the comment on my photo of the Temple in Kathmandu -- I have been a fan of your photos for years -- especially the Thai photos -- I am off to my first trip to Malaysia this week -- hope I can get some photos close to par with yours. Thanks again -- dave
Aloha John! I have finally completed my album "Mai Ka Lani Mai" which translates as "Sent from Heaven". You are coordially invited to come take a look at the finished product before I get started on my new projects. Certainly, any comments are always appreciated. Please also be aware that I have made some changes from what was previously on the album. I'm very excited about my upcoming trip to San Diego and Las Vegas. My itinerary includes many photo sessions in both locations; however, I am really looking forward to returning to San Diego where I grew up. Until then I intend to canvas Honolulu for some night photography sessions due to Jan and my current work schedule (she's on the night shift) and to get ready for the neon lights of Vegas. A hui hou! Clark
Y'all are invited to take a visit with me down to America's Deep South to view my recently completed album of "Georgia's Low Country" at: http://travel.webshots.com/album/561591092UuWCov. Iffin y'like what y'see, leave a comment or two. Y'all come now, y'hear? Clark from O'ahu.
Hi John, I am fascinated by the picture of Riverside Drive in 1906. Where did you find it? I'd love to have a professional print made of the image. Hope to hear from you. Many thanks, Kris

JOhn, thank you for your response. The Bangkok Grand Palace pictures are in the Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand album (with a picture of me and a snake on the cover). The close-up of a detail of blue and white ?faience? in one of the buildings is on page 6. I would love to know the building material used in these elaborate finishes. Have no idea.
Without a doubt, check out the photographs in this new album: http://travel.webshots.com/album/560973281asQTWA?vhost=travel This is well worth spending some time viewing some incredible photographs by Jeff Law. I know this album will be featured soon... It is that good. Clark
Aloha John, I had an exceptional day today. Why don't you surf out to Hawaii and take a look at my latest additions to "Ipaka Pa O'ahu"? I will in the process of uploading many more so, please stand by... Clark from O'ahu.
Hi John, thank you very much for your comment. This my album some photos I copy from other but some photos that take by myself. This photo I have copied from my friend.
Hi John
I just wanted to thank you so very much for the lovely comment you left on my photo entitled "San Marco - Admiral Point and S.Maria della Salute - Night View" Regards.
Hi John, a few days back you asked what camera I used to take my shots of body surfers. It's a Pentax K 100D, for those shots I used a 70-400mm zoom, all were taken at 1/4000 of a second. Your photos show a serious interest in photography, so what camera are you using? I'll work my way through your albums, a few at a time. Cheers, Keith.
John, in particular, check out photo #131 of "O'ahu sunrises sunsets and assorted pa'i ki'i". I think I really nailed the shot. What do you think? Clark
That was an ultimate compliment, John, calling my photo one of the best you've seen on webshots! What an honor! Now I wonder if I could impose on you to give me your expert opinion on something. I recently added an album (titled "Progressive Sunset") containing a series of sunset photos taken just minutes apart and showing the sun setting into the ocean while it became uniquely distorted as it went lower and lower. Then I cut-and-pasted the sun out of some of the pictures and joined them together in two different ways... (1) one as a single row of 8 mini-photos and (2) as pairs of photos stacked on top of each other in 4 rows. Please tell me which one YOU think is more visually appealing and should stay in the album? Thanks much!
The album is here:
http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/558972510VUsMiK
....Also, a friend recently asked me to send some photos of her son's hometown (Gold Beach) to him in Iraq. So I went to Gold Beach and then up to the top of Cape Sebastian, which is 200 feet above the sea, and took some scenic shots looking both north and south down the coast. I captured some really spectacular views that you may enjoy viewing. (http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/558982127wrFBiA)
...... thanks much, -Randy
Aloha John. Thank you for visiting my album "O'ahu sunrises, sunsets and assorted pa'i ki'i" and for your kind comments. I intend to upload more sunsets into that album through the year so please check back often. Also, I have traveled extensively throughout Thailand. Your photographs brought back a lot of wonderful memories. Mahalo for sharing. Clark from O'ahu.
Hi John,
I really love your photos of old New York and wanted to look into the possibility of ordering prints for a restaurant that my company is opening in Manhattan. Please email me when you get a chance at mattoutloud@gmail.com.
