  • Hi Jill, thanks for trying to work it out for me. I was wondering if the Microsoft Office Picture Managers 1 step improve might be the problem. It's not very good but the pix look fine on my shoddy old monitor. I've found pix seem much different on other peoples monitors. Who knows, see what the next pix turn out like. Cheers, Steve.

  • Hi Jill, from what i gather, the Cistercian Way connects all the Priories, Abbeys, Churches etc that were used by the Cistercian monks in the Furness and Cartmel areas. Not entirely sure though. It was a good walk, spoiled only by the lingering death of my Scarpas. :( Steve.

  • Hi Jill I've just found your comments in my spam box along with over 500 others. Groan, I've no idea how they got there. So I am drowning in replies now. LOL Yes, yes, the raindrops are REAL....honest! I used a 100mm macro lens which gets in really close. I'm hoping for a 150mm lens soon which will be even better. I'm also recovering from a broken hip at the moment, so I've been out of action for the last 2 months, which was when I fell, while on holiday and chose to save my camera. I'll never do THAT again!! Hope to be off these crutches for the New Year. Fingers crossed. Warm regards Lyn
