Hi Frances, happy you enjoyed the Walney Sunset photo's, it was a real pleasure to get out with my Mam and the dog. The evening was definitely enjoyed by all.
Cheers, Steve.
Actually it wasn't painful at all, but I WAS chattering nervously throughout so I think maybe that took my mind off it!!! I think I'm having a midlife crisis to be start having tats at my age! Les :)
Hi Frances,
Thanks for your comments on my recent set of pictures. Jack's Rake certainly is enjoyable, so much better for having good weather too. The Scafell walk really was wet underfoot in places, too much rain had made Great Moss very sponge-like and the Esk was therefore full and not easy to cross. My feet were rather cold indeed. The walk to Pillar via the High Level route is excellent, and one that I recommend. It offers a great view of Pillar Rock. If you are doing the Birketts you have to get to the top of Pillar Rock (Sean of Striding Edge just has that to do to complete!) I suppose it like you having to do the Inn Pin. I'd quite like to have a go if I had someone with climbing experience with me. Cheers, Andrew
Hi Frances, glad you liked the Gaping gill photo's. I was really pleased that they came out ok. Dread to think of the expense of how to photograph the place properly. Nevermind, i'm a point and shoot kinda guy!
Steve.
Hey Frances! We're looking after them while their 'parents' are on hols! And yes, you're right, they are just lovely! The brown one is only 13 weeks old and a real poppet! :)
