Hi Sveta, You must love cats. I have always owned a cat since I was a child. Thank you for your lovely comment about Oscar. Oscar is a seal (blackish/brown) mitted Ragdoll cat. Mitted means the paws are white. One Ragdoll breeder I contacted once said chocolate Ragdoll cats are rarer than hens teeth. I don't know if you have heard of that saying in Israel. Hi, Sveta! Thanks for the clarification re the names of your cats. I've already corrected myself under Tristan's photo. I love your new additions and will be back tomorrow: it's now 12:15 AM (Thursday) and my alarm goes off at 4 AM so I can feed my university cats. They're SO hungry during Passover because there are no students attending classes during this holiday. I do the best I can, but I guess it's not enough. Hi, Svet! Thanks for responding so quickly! I'm really sorry to hear about your parents' health. Hope they regain their strength and make a full recovery! I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you, either via e-mail or through updated cat albums. As we become more "enlightened," we realize that good health takes priority over everything else! I'll send you an e-mail soon. Just briefly: I've been swimming at the Hilton Hotel pool 3 times a week and TODAY I twisted my ankle on the top of that hill and fell into a deep, wet, muddy hole! I think I have a bad sprain (hurts like hell), but don't think I've fractured my ankle. Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! Hugs, Miriam

Hi, Svetlana! This IS a pleasant surprise! I live in Ramat-Gan (near Elite and the Diamond Building). I was born in NYC, but circumstances led me to Israel (unfortunately) and one day I hope to return to the States (sigh!). Although I retired 3 years ago (from Bar-Ilan University), I still feed my group of cats there twice a week (usually Sundays and Thursdays), buying imported cat food (USA). By any chance, have you ever been to Gordon Pool (another one of my passions)? Miriam
