My own fault, been away most of the summer, then ended up in hospital but am fine now, and lots of resting time required, so catching up with all my webshots friends and what I missed. Hi Shirley. Thank you for your kind words re: my featured album Carlsbad Caverns. I've only been a member of Webshots for a couple years. But I was pleasantly surprised being honored. A friend & I will be riding a steam excursion train in New Mexico/Colorado on Sep 21 and chase the train the following day. Hope we catch the aspen trees in golden yellow splendor. Yes that gray horse was a beauty and a spectacular point to that walk for me...especially when the young girl rode him into the pond...I hurried my shots and they weren't as good as they should have been...rats!! I keep watching for her to come along again sometime!

I didn't think people microchipped kitty's unless they were the designer variety. Our local shelter really doesn't deal with cats much because according to the town ordinance cats are free roaming animals...they don't even pick them up unless they are obviously sick or vicious. I know she isn't on their lost list but am going to call a neighboring town shelter to check there as well. I wouldn't want to invest a lot of time and emotion just to have someone come to my door and say I took their cat...on the otherhand, she must not be being cared for anymore if she is making herself a permanent resident of my patio! We'll see how the saga proceeds.

Shirley, You asked about the double exposure of the pink tulips - my Pentax K10D has a setting in my recording menu to set for a double exposure, I can expose 2,3,5 or 8 images. It also makes this even easier, as I can tick a box there so that the camera does the correct exposure shift so the final image is correct. What camera do you shoot with?? I think my point and shoot Casio will do something similar, but I've never tried it. - Thanks for the visit and kind comments. - Madge

Good day my dear friend.I hope your week is going great for you there.Its raining here again but we need it so bad these days.Last summer was very dry and it dryed up the ponds and creeks in my area so i pray that dont happen this year.Im working on that new album of my grand children but my computer only allows to to down load so many pics or it will put me in slow mode for two days grr giggles.I only can do them between 3 am and 6 am..but since i been working..im to tired to get up that early.I should have it finished i hope before next week.I will find the time to come by soon to view your albums sweety..so sorry i havent had time yet.Im back now so i will have plenty of time to view all of your albums hun.Wishing you a wonderful up-coming weekend and sending my sweet friend a warm hug.God bless you always and see you as soon as i can..xoxo.
