Hi Helen - thanks for your reply, I;m sorry I didn't see it sooner. For some reason I don't get an email when I get a message via the message book, only on albums and individual pictures. So that means that unless I remember to look, I often miss messages that are posted. Rosebank was OK to me but as you say, it was a long time ago. I unfortunately did not have a very good attitude back then and spent most of my time acting like a fool and missing classes, to the point that I dropped out of school after what was then 4th Year and I didn't complete the year. It looks like you may have been a couple of years ahead of me, so you might remember my sister, Patricia Traynor? Some of her friends were Ann Shallala, Josie Harrison, Denise Sykes, and a couple of others whose names I can't remember. Such a long time ago and so many things have happened im my life since then. Where did you go to primary school? I went to St James' in Glebe. Warm regards, Marie

Hi Helen - thank you for letting me know the name of the plant in my Garden Shots album. I just had a quick look at your profile and note that you went to school at St Mary's "Rosebank" at Five Dock - so did I!!! I was there in years 1964 to 1968 - when were you there?

My dear Helen, it was so good to hear from again after such a long absence! I'm relieved to see that your health has improved and that you are in good spirit. How is your son, these days? I'm thrilled that you have enjoyed my last album! It has been a year today that I left for Adelaide, the City of Churches, as you say. I might have mentioned to you that this trip, longly dreamed of, was terminated brutally with Annick in the hospital (with a severe bout of cellulitis) and my host on her way to Canberra to celebrate Christmas with her son. I have not yet recovered from the shock of all this, which is the reason why I have not yet published on WS all the photos captured in your wonderful country. But it is just a matter of time before I get to edit and upload the numerous images that I brought back with me. Hoping to hear from you soon. Hi Helen, thanks for stopping by my new "Floating Queens" photos. That was a fab experience taking photos of those 2 beautiful ships. One day I would like to go on one of them. My compliment on your geographic knowledge, dear friend: yes, indeed, the Darss region is close to Denmark! Just a shorter boat ride towards north, and you get to one of the Danish islands. Have you ever been there? Helen, I know that my album is too voluminous to view all at one time. But you can come back to continue viewing whenever it suits you. Hi Helen. Thanks for telling me some about your family and where you live. I loved Australia the 2 times I visited back in the mid-80's aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers. That's when I had ports-of-call in Perth/Fremantle. I retired in 2000 after 30 years of active service. Always wanted to visit the eastern parts of OZ. You have a beautiful amd wonderous country, too. Thank you again for commenting on my image and glad you like my passion for photography. I too, have much more to learn about PS CS4.
