SEASON'S GREETINGS ROB ~ sending Warm Wishes for a very Happy Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year ~ may it bring much Love, Peace, Joy and Happiness throughout 2009, to you and all your loved ones. Merry Christmas from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, Helen xx
hello Rob. He who has no Christmas in his heart will never find Christmas under a tree. Wishing you all the seasons best wishes and many thanks for all of your visits and comments in my guest books over the last year. Take care. Bernard. New Zealand
peace. it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. it means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. Wishing you and your family Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year 2009, Best wishes always, Jules
Dear Robert, Never thought I'd find a site almost completely dedicated to nature. I can tell you care and have great passion for is medium. I am really enjoying your outstanding work and hope you keep it up....Jules from Canada
Dear Robert it has now been a while that I have felt very frustrated and unhappy with Webshots it is clear to me that they can not handle such a big site. There is wonderful talented people on this site that never gets a feature and their photographic art is never recognized.I was invited to join a site called Redbubble by one of my very good Webshot friends an this stage there is 35 of us that has made this leap in the last month. I would like to quote you a few words that one of our x-webshot friends wrote that should explain to you why the Bubble is a much better site for people that is serious about their photography:
““Phewwww a weeks a long time in the bubble eh ? ... new friends .. old friends several features (7 for the feature counters) and even el presidente favored me ..(tell me another site where that happens !) I dont say that based on any delusions of grandeur…I say it because in that lays the essence of this site ..even the co-owners are actively hands on… ...but what I have learnt (refreshingly) most in this past week..is that its not about stats and views..(they are no where to be seen !).. no corporate judgments made on how good your images will look on coffee cups or mouse mats…its simply and genuinely about you…and your images and your art all adjudicated by your peers””
I have paid my subscription for this year at Webshots but I will no longer come here regularly. I had to choose between the two sites (the Bubble is for free !) because it just takes up to much time to belong to both. If you feel like coming to look me up please do so that you can then see for yourself how much better your photographs look on the bubble as well. The webadres is www.redbubble.com and my name that you should look up is SandraRos.
Hi Robert, ty very much for viewing my wings of paradise album and for letting me know your album will help me identify more of them...........will bookmark you and return later, ty
been away for a few weeks so a bit behind, lol
Thank you for visiting my albums and for the informative comments. A couple of the 'duck' pictures taken at the fair are geese. My little niece was helping me with the titles, and insisted they were ducks! I forgot to change that after she left!! Also, thanks for the names of the butterflies - I had no idea of what exactly they were! The 'allium' picture was taken in my neighbor's garden - she insists they are allium and not thistle - anyway, it's a lovely flower no matter what its name! Thanks again for your visit! All the best, Lori
Aloha auinapo dearest Robert, please join me in celebrating 3,000,000 views. Thank you from the depths of my heart for your kindness and encouragement. I send you warm Aloha greetings with much love from the beautiful tropical shores of Ho'okipa Beach, Maui Hawai'i. Take time to dream! Aloha! Hi, Your macros are astoundingly beautiful. I've tried and tried to get good close-ups of dragonflies and fail every time. I do so enjoy viewing your dragonfly and damselfly photos! Hope you are enjoying your photo shoots - we surely are enjoying your photos. - DeeAnne
Hello Robert.
Thanks for all the comments. As for my "gallery" those were taken by a friend checking out their new camera.
I currently have five offical cats that are all fixed. Two males - Conner & Checkers. Three female - Bandit, Stinky McGee and Smokey. But we have a few vistors, a male we've names Patches (not fixed) and a female we call Grumpy Gus or GG for short. GG has a litter of four kittens that have been hanging out in our backyard area. The kittens are wild but Patchs and GG do let us pet them. My daughter and I hope to catch the kittens and their mother to have them fixed and find them new homes.
Hi Rob, thanks for your recent visit to our Bald Eagle albums and for your very kind and generous comments, they are greatly appreciated. We hope all is well, Take Care. ~Deb & Rick~
Thank you SO much on that info about Dragonflies and Damselflies. That is wonderfully interesting, at least now I can sound clever when I see them, by being able to tell the differance. Please bare in mind my son is a gameranger, now his mother can impress him with some knowledge of her own. You a real friend, thanks !
Thank you so much for your kind words and your visit to my cheeta album. I would also like to thank you for your invite to friendship it is my pleasure to except.
