Hi Rebecca, Thank you for your kind comments on my Autumn Walk album. You're right; those asters would be good for the current CC. You also gave me an idea for a Christmas card; it's in my new album: http://image75.webshots.com/175/8/86/63/2969886630053923272xRxhWY_fs.jpg Thanksgiving weekend would have been better if I had the whole four days off, but I did manage to get a lot of my bulbs planted for spring. Now, if the next few weekends could stay dry (and above freezing!) I could finish tidying up the garden before the new year! Of course, they're predicting snow for Saturday...Have a great week. Lora

My dear Rebecca, thank you so much for your invitation, I am honoured to be your friend. And thank you too for so many warm and wonderful comments on my England album - it's always a thrill to share pictures with someone who has been there themselves, and bring back lovely memories for us both! I have used WS friends albums to help me plan my own journeys. Don't worry about using "comments" to thank people - it seems to be quite acceptable now that it takes twice as long to post comments (I admit to doing it myself!) - people understand completely. Isn't it sad to hear of the flooding in the Lake District at present? I actually have a great Uncle in Workington, a town which is one of the worst hit, luckily he is on higher ground and his house was quite safe. We are also lucky enough to have friends living in the Peak District, and they took us to visit Eyam, which is deceptively idyllic these days. I wonder if you have read "Year of wonders" by Geraldine Brooks, about life in Eyam at the time of the plague? It's a fascinating (fiction) read. I didn't see a single red squirrel in England that time round, only on the continent, but on a previous visit, I went to the Formby red squirrel sanctuary (near Liverpool), where I saw hundreds of the little darlings. I even managed to feed one, although they are much, much more timid than those brazenly greedy guys in Hyde Park! Sorry for the enormous message, I will be back to visit you very soon, warmest wishes from Jane.

Hi Rebecca, It's funny that you mentioned liking the tearoom so much that you found it again on another trip. My first time in England, I found a charming sandwich place in Oxford. When I returned in 2004 I managed to track it down again, despite not knowing the name! Thank you for your kind comments on my autumn shots; I really liked the Celtic design on those tombstones, so I had to include them. Have a great week! Lora

You are welcome, Rebecca! Thanks so much for the nice comments you made in my album of Solomon! Solomon wasn't as skiddish today when I went out to feed him... he seemed to be more comfortable with me around. I just hope I can get him to sleep in the bed I fixed for him on the couch on my front porch... if he will just go in there to sleep at night, he'll be warm from the cold... I'm concerned about him making it through the winter. I send kisses to Bianca, Asterix/Piglet, Marks, Sparks, Athos, Aramis, Gauley, and Thurmond! I wish you an amazing day, sweetie! Hugs, June

Hi Rebecca, Thank you for your kind comments on my pictures. I didn't even realize I had a crepe myrtle in my yard until last week! The poor thing is in the shade, so it probably won't flower, but the leaves turned wonderful colors this year. Have a great day! Lora

Hi Rebecca, many thanks for all your superbly constructive comments on my East Lambrook album. They are greatly appreciated as always. I’m pleased that you liked the inset of Margery Fish. I think that it helps, when describing about a person, if a photo is available to add to the picture. When you visit the Manor Gardens, a must is a visit to the tea rooms. You pay for one cup of tea or coffee which entitles you to as many refills as you like for free. I think that the village and the gardens are just the sort of place that you will love and I hope you are able to visit in the not too distant future. My very best wishes to you Rebecca from Tony in England.

Dear friend Rebecca, I just read all your comments on the photos in my Central India album. It is always a great pleasure to read your observations, because you look very well and interested. I can see that also from your albums arraged methodically as a real librarian. I am still wondering where you live because you wrote about a long flight to Paris. I thought you are from England ...... Soon I'll go for a holiday to Ecuador but soon after that I come to visit other albums of yours. For you too a very nice week to come. Warm regards from Heleen

Bonsoir Rebecca! Bonne nuit, chere Rebecca! Je reviendrai visiter tes beaux albums! Bisous, Huguette
