Hallo Ginny, my best tthanks for your invitation to be your WS-friend; it's a grand honour for me to be friend with you, with more than 1mio views...
My hearty greetings from white Switzerland, Markus, your WS-friend
Yep same as mine -- notify WS feed back and Dennis R will ask you to send info -- you do and the standard reply BACK from Dennis R is "technical problems unable to restore, delete and then reload your picture" !! I'm already visiting other sites to switch elsewhere -- at least the Feds are aware of all that is going on. Sad to see that the MBA Interns are also learning these Business Tactics. Charley
I accidentally discovered a few missing from one of my albums when I went in to post some more pixs. I notified WS -- they requested I send them info etc. Their preprogrammed response it turns out is Technical Problems, cannot restore, delete blank photo spot and reload again. Soooo from CharleySunshine I now have 330 missing and from CharleySunshine2 I now have 30 missing. See front of my albums where missing photos are from -- I placed the "blank" photo spaces in front of each album to make it real easy to see affected albums. Read the comments from numerous members in Site Blog, Missing Photos -- two WS pages for all the problems. What a mess and WS keeps on with their preprogrammed responses -- someone has already contacted the FTC for investigations etc. over the problems with WS Desktop software -- read Site blogs for this problem also. Charley
Thank you so much for your comments on my Cefalu album feature. I really appreciate the positive feedback and love to share with all my Webshots friends my vision of what makes Italy a wonderful place to visit. Terry
Hi Ginny, I just love your birds. Thank you for asking me to be friends in Nov. I just noticed the invitation burried in my email. Sorry. Take care, Carol Jean
Hello Ginny, Minty wanted to say thanx for the compliment (Gardening Dog). He is SO cute, but so naughty, whenevery I kiss him, he gives me a quick nip! Love to all your birdies. I just noticed my dove story a bit further down - the little dove took a bit of time to recover - just sat quietly for a couple of hours, think he was in shock - and then his mother came back for him. I am so glad I shooed away those butcher birds! Blessings,
Hi again. Just checked my em and there you were. Those Spam alerts plus notifying WS multiple times seems to have worked -- at least for now ;-) The Christmas Deer are looking at me -- I'm sure they were really grumbling too :-( We could not get the truck down to the barn with the feed so we set up their Feed Station up here -- they did not like the new setups ;-) Ha ha tho -- they finally decided the extra walking up here fed them -- so on they came -- LOL, LOL. The Wild Bird Banding is for the Wildlife's benefit -- to monitor habitation/ etc. Very Interesting class. Charley
Hey have you heard yet -- we've been able to FINALLY retire our Hamster Relay Team -- they no longer have to carry all my pics to WS. Yep, we now have High Speed ISP out here in Coyote Country !! Now the Relay Team sit besides me here and watch while the HSISP wisps the pics to WS in nanoseconds !! Charley
Hi. Thanks for stopping by our Geese. Those two waddle all over the place, even way out on the other side of the pond. Last summer I found them following the irrigation water clear across the fields and headed for the Little Wash, just this side of our hills-- egads !! Then they raised quite a ruckus because I chased them back !! The big male even tried hissing, attack mode etc. -- I hissed right back, shook MY WINGS at him, lowered my head downwards and charged him. He was so terrified that the two of them then went screeching/honking clear back to the barn - LOL, LOL. Charley
Hi, I just want to invite you to my way of saying thank you to you and to everyone for their support over the last few years that has enabled me to reach the 3,000,000 views, thank you so much, hugs Ann (UK).... http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/572068743UDHFER
Hi Ginny, thanx for the time you took to visit my album of Monty and for all your kind comments, I can see how much you care for all of God's creatures. I loathe birds in captivity, but I do understand that they sometimes need protection and care. I cannot go into a pet shop and see them in those little cages and not seathe with anger. I have just browsed some of your albums and enjoyed your friendship with those magnificent parrots. I just took my new puppy out for a walk in the garden and saw something horrible. The butcher birds were attacking a lone dove, and its mother was trying to fend them off. I shewed them away, but they just kept circling. And the longer I stayed there, the more the mother stayed away. Big sigh. Not sure how this one will end, but probably not too well. Take care Ginny, and thanx again for your lovely words. Blessings,
Hi. Thanks for the note re: Parrots ;-) With working Nights and sleeping days -- a very noisy Bird is not exactly my first choice -- thought maybe I could set cage outside during day in warm months but he was heard clear outside their place :-( Charley
Hi again. Thanks for visiting Sun Chases Moon etc. Those kids are always at it ;-). -- B.C. ( before Camera ) I never really paid that much attention to those two mischief makers above us. The Camera has really opened my eyes, in more than one way -- LOL. Charley
Howdy ;-) Thanks for visiting and commenting on my DEAR DEER -- see more pics I'm in process of uploading on my veeeerrrryyyy sloooooww ISP ;-). They are somewhat choosy -- chocolate donuts seem better than fresh cooked or raw carrots etc -- LOL, LOL, LOL -- hmmmm just a bit spoiled ??? Hmmm maybe they're not so wild after all ;-) Charley
