G'day Frank, Thanks for visiting my pics and your nice comment. When I took that shot, 1770 sunset, I was trying to capture the essence of the place. Have you seen 1770? It is a tranquil place, or was, I haven't been there for many years but I've heard that tourism has found it and destroyed the peace. You are in Townsville, great place. I visited My sister there many times back in the 80's. The last time I was there I shot the Motorcycle show for Ozbike magazine. Enjoy your D300... it's on my wish list. Seeya, George

Hi Frank, Ah now I've discovered where you live..Townsville...visted there during a 3 month backpack around eastern OZ winter of 98/99...pretty place, with a Meditteranean feel about the harbour, visited Magnetic Island too. I'm a Brit teaching English at a southern Pacific coastal Mexico University with a backdrop of the Sierra Madre mountains. No rain since October so very dry and brown at the moment! So I head for the mountain parks for vacations.....I can definately recommend the Western American and Canadian National Parks.... Yosemite is as awe-inspiring as it looks in photos, and around Banff and Jasper divine. cheers, Lorraine

Fraud and Copyright Infringement Notice ~ Here is a quote from Kellimays's album commentary "just some photos taken all over the state of colorado and a few in south/north dakota...Many of the scenery photos to include most of the waterfall photos were taken from my moms Camera...I found them on her memory card and computer" end quote!!! Kelli's plagiarism and photo theft has been proven again and again and again, there are hundreds of stolen images in her albums!!! There is a conversation thread on our message forums with many many URL hyperlinks to the original photographers and artists websites and sources proving her illegal actions. I don't understand why her account is still active and her stolen images still on view on Webshots with her false claims of ownership! We recommend Kelli Mays account be terminated immediately by Webshots and all her albums removed from this website!!
