Love your photos. It was the Bodie album that caught my eye. I've been there but not when the sky was so dramatic. Love what you have done with the composition. Great stuff! Sheila - Rocklin, CA (No. Calif)

I really love your Bodie pics!! I sort of passed there in April on my way to Utah. I vow to get out there some day and shoot pics. Your pictures remind me of my shots. I'm all into nature around every corner, and I think my classes in Forensics has changed the way I shot pictures. I'm into old cemeteries (Riverside Evergreen), local mountains, coastal, animals, etc. I'll be back to see what else you've been doing! Sandra

I love the Bodie album. Excellent pics of the only place I've been to that was so creepy is seemed as if I could feel my feet burning, although the thirteen miles of washboard road on a motorcycle didn't help either. My sister, the fire chief, will love the firehouse shot. Thanks!

For that I thank you from the bottom of heart since I am confined. I've always had a great interest in photography and your photos are absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing with us!

I have to say you have some wonderful Train albums. It will take me awhile to look thru all of them. Please tell me how you get so many pictures at such a close range. I'm very interested in getting some photos close up. Thanks!

I agree..great HDR album Dave, HDR layered exposures bring that something extra to the colors and lighting effects. Well done. Gary - Australia.

You're welcome for my recent visit and comments, and thanks for acknowledging that. However, I was hoping you would've had a look at my rail albums. Though I've visited and enjoyed your train albums and others in some cases, I've yet to be reciprocated. That also goes for other train dudes. Us train enthusiasts should support each other. If you wish, you could provide the links you mentioned in my Message board. Cordially, Ron.

Hi Dave! Sorry if I answer so late to your question. I have finally got the time to do some investigation and I have found out that you were right. The picture I shot in 1981 was not taken in the Mojave desert, but in Utah. The train was the The Rio Grande Zephyr, a passenger train operated by Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad (D&RGW or Rio Grande) between Denver, Colorado and Ogden, Utah. It operated from 1971 until 1983. Greetings from Orange County, Roberto PS my pic is the following: http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2981114540094258363XsHizO
