I was a combat photographer during Viet Nam. My name is Daryl McCutchen. I live in Cincinnati, OH. I am amazed at the extensive collection that you possess from the Submarines to the Remagen Bridge. I am currently planning my next 1/35 model project, and I hope you will allow me to copy and post your photo album of Remagen Bridge photos. Please if you have any questions, I am free to answer about any of the WWII history I have at my finger tips. Thank you for sharing this wonderful collection.

I am especially interested in finding a wartime photo of Wilhelm. Any help you may provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Lot of somments on these photos. It's no wonder, they're good images.
I too have a request concerning one of them. You have one labelled: "U-404". Is there a higher resolution version of this somewhere? Or do you have the original? It's the only image I seem to be able to find of the side of the conning tower of this boat and I want to get a better idea what happens to the dragon emblem towards the rear of the turm.
Anyway, thanks for posting in the first place. Hope you find time to get back to me.
Cheers:

Hi there,
Especially interested in the photo you posted in the Operation Deadlight Album No. 2 which pictures the German sub. U776 at Westminster Pier, London. The chap in centre of picture facing the camera is my Great. Uncle John a submariner of WW1 experience, who, whilst on reserve was called in to help crew this boat from Weymouth. Any chance of knowing the origin of the photo & if original or another of sharper focus is possible.
Great .........thanks. JohnWebb13

Hi! You have a good volume of photos of Seehund midget sub. May I ask you to e-mail me the high-resolution versions of them? I am prepairing now the large article on this midget submarine. My name is Vladimir Shcherbakov. I am from Moscow, Russia. My e-mail: vovka21021974@yandex.ru
I am interested in your photos of the Wilhelmshaven Dockyards in 1945. I have been trying to track my grandfathers war service. The story I remember is that he was in charge of clearing the Wilhelmshaven Dockyards of sunken ships and submarines in 1945 (Chief Engineer by trade). He was given a German made Royal Navy uniform, which I still have) by the German Commander of Wilhelmshaven (Kreigsmarine), I was wondering if you knew his name. It is possible my grandfather took some of the photos or did the drawing you have. Any information you have would be much appreciated. He was the CO of a RN/RM unit called NIMLRU (?.?.Mobile.Land.Repair.U nit) and they specialised in opening & clearing captured ports. The detail inside the his Royal Navy (Engineer) uniform is;
