I was looking for a winter Acadia picture and noticed a pic you had of Marion Ward. Then I looked at your profile. I wonder if you were a teacher I had in Gaspereau School for about grade 1 or 2. That would have been around 1969ish... If you are she, you were probably my favourite teacher ever :)

Dear Brenda, Just been looking at your 'raindrops on petals' album. Can't comment there, so sropped by here to say, what a lovely refreshing album, all those lovely flowers getting a good drink, and becoming beautifully bejewelled in the process. Lovely photography, a joy to view, Best wishes, Sheila.

Brenda, I was looking at the featured outdoor - wildlife photos and noticed that you have a large number of featured photos. I tried to leave comments at several of those photos, but looks like you have disables that option. You have some fantastic photos. Congratulations on all of the featured photos.

Dear Brenda, I have just viewed your wonderful album of Bear River, Nova Scotia - and I am so fascinated by all your suberb captures. I wanted to write my comments on your album and shots, but this is not possible. What a pity! So I say a big THANK YOU in this message board for sharing your treasures with me! I have so much enjoyed my tour around "Little Switzerland". We here in Germany also have a special region with this name - Saxon SWITZERLAND! If you like, you can see what it is like when viewing my newest album. You are warmly invited to "Saxon Switzerland National Park"! Have a nice week. Erika

Yo Brenda: http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/1339812508068011407BrXJJNThis image has been the POTD in Digital Art for a couple weeks now. Is the Digital Art category no longer of any concern to the WS editors? I wouldn't cast any aspersions on the artist who did this; they have no control over it. But the editors. Oh they must suffer heaps of verbal abuse from the rest of us who are seriously trying to compete in this arena. We deserve fair time. Sincerely, Paul Ewing Chairman of the Board, Webshots Impressarios Mad at the Publishers, Raging at American Greetings (WIMPRAG)

Hi Brenda, I read your comment under Joannes Blues festival in New Brunswick and you mentioned the Wolfville Blues festival last month, did you get to go. We went and it was fantastic. We video taped a lot of the artists and now we have a few musicians who we follow. I believe there is more music in Yarmouth this weekend, some of the same will be there. Susan

Hi Brenda, Here's a Halloween treat for you. A slide show of wild digital images set to The Doors "Riders on the Storm." Go to the album, look at the directions in my message, open two windows, one for music the other for slides, and...rock on! Paul http://entertainment.webshots.com/album/574867907bXFSvu

Thanks for the comments on two of my C C pictures. I think the grasshopper must be a G H nymph as it looks different than most of the ones I see. Penny

Hi Brenda. Thanks for the CC comment. The mountains are 6000meters high in high altitude cold desert on the Tibet/India border. Nothing grows as they are too high! Cheers, Diana

you are the first audience to my crazy, fancy, self portrait mirror pic, "sunglass as a travel mirror". I think you are the only one and the last who comment my crazy photo. I'm ugly right? isn't it? I really need a sexy model girl for that photo. It's too bad that I can't find the one like you yet. ha haha. That's a funny joke. Don't mind. Actually, this photo is just for showing the true meaning of the mirror, reflection angle and light source for the image to be reflected. just for fun. Thank you for your keen eye on seeing the concept of the photo. Not beauty. Good luck.

Hi Brenda, Was just catching up on old comments and posts and read about your hard drive. Big Bummer, to say the least! Glad you could recover the jpegs at least - would have been a major loss to all if your shots ended up in digital Hades... To have a drive crash due to malicious code in a spam comment would be pretty hard to accomplish. I had a look at what you can embed in the comments, and it's not that easy to misuse them for a lot. I've had a look at the spam messages I keep getting and there's little to nothing "under the hood". Following the links in the messages, though, is a different story: I found nice little exploits there in some of the sites they link to... See ya Sven PS: Thanks for the nice comments on my CC entries this week!
