Hi Evelyn....when I found the kittens they were about 5 weeks old, and could already eat solid food (I put warm water on the dry kitten food to soften it). I bought the Whiskas cat milk that comes in a juicebox type container and used that. They still love it. I found homes for two and we kept three of the kittens. I grew up in Orange County, lived in LA, San Bernardino & Ventura counties. Just relocated to outside of Tulsa last year. Joan Denney

Hello, I came across your photos while searching the internet. I'm a web designer and am currently developing a site for a non-profit group located in Carolina Beach, NC. They are called SADD - Saving Animals During Disasters. They did some of the animal relief effort following hurricane Katrina. I was wondering if you would like to donate the use of some of your photos on their site. Particularly the photos of the dogs stranded in the water / debris. Full credit and a link would be attributed to you. They would also provide you with a credited donation. My telephone number is 910-795-1479. Thank you... Peter Mills

Hi Evelyn I work in dog rescue and we occassionally bring dogs up to the PA and NY area from the south. I was wondering if you would have any contacts that would be helpful to us in this route. courtenay77@gmail.com thank you!

Hello, I admire your rescue efforts. I have a minature Eskie that was discarded because of a birth deffect. I love him unconditionally and would love to have a whole pack of them someday. They are so beautiful inside and out. I Just wanted to tell you that your efforts are not wasted because these animals are wonderful angels in disguise. I know mine saved my life by lifting me out of a severe depression. I named him Samson because I thought he was very strong despite his small stature. It was not until afterwards that I found this was a common name for these types of dogs. The next one I get will have a more creative name but I want my Sammy to be around for many years to come. Keep up the great work. Tina

Hello, I see you had kittens with ringworm. I have 5 persian Kittens I got from a lady closing down her cattery.. (I got the mom who was already pregnant with them) Well.. all 5 have RINGWORM.. now. My vet says the mom was a silent carrier.. she showed no symptoms. Well they are pure white kittens and it looks just awful. for one thing.. But I did get tresaderm from the vet and a shampoo.. it looks worse to me this past couple days. Does it get worse before it gets better? It looks like cigarette burns to me. its all on their faces and a couple have it by their feet.. I just bought program flea med. hoping that might help. I heard on here its used for Ringworm. Can you give me any advice on this? I dont even know where to get lyme dip or sulfur dips.. I see everyone uses them but never say where they get them. Did yours on your kittens go away and how long did it take? The first thing my vet seemed to suggest without actually saying it in so many words was eventually maybe having to put them to sleep. Thats not an option to me. People dont get put to sleep for Ringworm. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Hi! The Krewe of Mutts in my photo album takes place in Baton Rouge every year. It was this past Sunday. My dog is Phoebe (she's a schnoodle) and is the white dog in the pink t-shirt with skull and crossbones on it....she's in a wagon. We go to Cincinnati every Christmas!
