Thank you for responding Cadence is our granddaughter who is now 7 months. Hope things are better for you. This is the first time I have used this for messages. A little about me I am married for 23 years. We have a daughter who has three kids two boys and a girl. Hello Els - Sorry I feel so bad - I've been traveling and so busy since I got back I am just now getting to some of my messages! I LOVE the Sony DSC-R1! It is huge and heavy but takes excellent photos in all conditions. I've taken about 3000 so far with it. It's got a 24-120mm Carl Zeiss lens, which is amazing. The lenses cannot be changed but you can add filters (I bought a UV Haze and Circular Polarizer) but honestly I feel the camera takes much better pictures without the filters. I bought it because Peter (georgieboy98) started using it and I was so impressed with the quality of his photos. And he talked me through the purchase and convinced me and I am so happy he did! I paid about $650 US, and it is worth every penny. Of course there is still much to learn, macros, nightshots etc and always much room to improve! How do you likee your Sony? I want to come back when I have some more time and view your albums in detail, I've just glanced at them and love what I see. So for now have a great weekend, Marita, Houston, Tx

Hi Els, I have been impressed by your albums: 'Spring' and 'Flowers - My Garden'. Although I have been a member of Webshots for the last 2 or three years, its only this year that I have started to be active in creating albums. I am learning a lot from photo veterans like you. I am working on a project on flowers and there are two or three flowers from your albums that would be appropriate for my album. This is a preliminary request to using some of your photographs on flowers for my album. Of course, credits will go to you as the photographer for the chosen photographs. Do not feel pressurised but if you are interested let me know and I will give you more details of my selection. You are the third member that I have made such request, and so far one has accepted one of my selections. I intend to release the album within this month. So far I have approximately twenty flowers of my own for the album. I thought if I added some photographs of other members, it would make the album more interesting. Hope to hear from you.
