Dear Maa`m ,
I saw your snaps of Douala , Cameroon.
Are you based / staying in cameroon ?If yes , perhaps you may be able to help me in one matter.
Please advise in my E mail ID : deeyen1992@yahoo.co.in
I will explain about the information I am seeking , after receiving your reply - if you are in Douala.
Regards ,
VMD Nambudiri
Out of the several times we've been to the Canadian Rockies, we don't always drive through Kootenay NP, because the hikes over there are somewhat longer (and fewer of them) than in the other 3 adjacent parks. Since we usually stay in Field, Yoho NP has become one our favorite parks of the four. Jon from Idaho
Hi Marlis,
I hope you don't mind my trying so hard this morning to get in contact with you. I'm the crazy person who commented on your photos of Nicole Fokum. I just wasn't sure you'd see those comments. I have a Flickr album and I dont' see the comments on it, unless I go there. You have taken some gorgeous photos. How long did you spend in Cameroon? I would love to visit there, but mostly would love to see Nicole again. I am hoping you are still in touch with her, or know how I can get in touch with her. She and I were in school together in Kisangani in 1969-70. I have lost touch with her and just searched for her name this morning. I found the artwork that you posted, done by her.
Are you in Edmonton now? Wherever you are, I hope you are well and wish you happy holidays!!!

Hi Marlis, Thank you so much for your congratulations and kind words on my Stones of Callanish photo. Very much appreciated. Apologies for the delay, but I have only limited internet access at the moment! However that leaves lots of time to take photos while on my UK travels. Merry Xmas and a happy New Year. cheers, Lorraine
Hello Marlis,I would like to thank you for your such kind comment on my featured Autumn album,it is much appreciated.Warm greetings from Hungary ~ Ildi
Hi Marlis, thanks for taking a look at CC photo of salt. I agree food would be terribly bland without it, especially corn on the cob, fresh tomatoes and boiled eggs (my short list)! Also, as an aisde, I read your bio, and you have a Grey (Echo) who is 35? Wow, I've never met anyone whose bird was that age! Mine is Joey a CAG, he's 6, a 'used' bird if you will, I've had him for two years. The gal I bought him from didn't have time for him anymore. We love him, he is such a character. If you'll email me (schoolbusdriver401@comca st.net) I'd love to talk to you more about parrots (I'm still figuring out this whole bird owner thing!) Have a good day. - Madge
Hi Marlis, Thank you my friend for visit to my Vibrant Fall 2008 album and nice comments on that. My friend, I am living in Virginia of US. All pictures are surroundings of New Market of virginia, At India such fall I never saw. _Jay
Hi, My name is Joseph Judd and I am wondering if you may be interested in purchasing the Three Sisters Mountions painting. The illustration was of the Three Sisters Mountains in banff, near canmore. This picture painted by your late father back in 1976 and is signed and dated. My mom has this picture and she wanted me to sell it for her and we thought mabey a relative would like to have first crack at it. If you are interested please email me @josephjudd@yahoo.com. If I don't hear back from you I will assume your not interested.

Hi Marlis -- thanks for your warm comments on my album on the Natural Emirates - I really like your photos of the weekend walk -- a little different climate from here in the desert -- but gives me nice memories of my years in Montana -- keep warm - Dave

LOL! "Minister" of the Interior! Very clever! Thank you so much for the compliments and congratulations on my Home Page Photo of the Day ~The Right Tide IS the Right Time~!! I am most honored and overwhelmed with ALL of the fabulous support from every corner of this fascinating world! It is very special to me that you took the time to look at and comment on, my capture of just an ordinary wintertime activity in the WILD wilderness of SE Alaska! I'm happier than a Humpback in a herd of hooligans! -DJ
Minus 19?!?! Wow! THAT is cold! Our Yorkie would turn into a frozen statue in minutes :-) but our shepherd wouldn't mind too much. Thank you so much, Marlis, for your comment on my Home Page Photo of the Day on Wednesday. I sure appreciate it and am happy you thought it was beautiful! What a nice thing to say! You sure helped make it special for me with your thoughtfulness! Best wishes to you from Oregon, ~Randy

Thanks so much, Marlis, for your generous comment on my recent challenge winner and subsequent POTD. Several have asked about this photo, so here's the low down. No, I didn't hang on the wing of the plane, but I was blessed with the cleanest windows in my entire flying career, just spotless! Though the atmosphere was very dirty near the ground, as we ascended from Denver to Salt Lake City, the air got very clear and clean, another blessing. This shot was made over Utah, I think, but it could be Colorado you're seeing, so residents of both states can probably claim this interesting landscape. Farmers who coax crops from this hostile land with irrigation and perspiration have my undying respect. Again, thanks so much for your support and kindness; both are appreciated more than you know. Regards, Fred
