Nena, there are many cactus books. You can choice either simple ones for simple or ordinary cactus collection or advanced books for a collection like mine. I use Anderson's book The Cactus Family (2001) and Hunt's The New Cactus Lexicon(2006) generally. Here is a link for cactus books: http://cactus-books.com/index.phtml

Hello again Süleyman, You have an amazing collection -- I still haven't seen more than a small fraction of it. I would like to ask a favor. If you have some time, would you please look at the last photo in my Parodias album. It shows 2 plants, each about 9 or 10 cm diameter. The one on the right is N. ubelmannianus (purple flowered variety). The plant on the left is the subject of some discussion on a forum in which I participate (cactiguide.com). I have been told by some that it is just a variety of P. werneri (N. ubelmannianus) but others say that it is P. crassigibba, which apparently is a close relative. Can you offer an opinion?
