Hi Candis, thanks for your recent comments. Yes, that is a sandbar that everyone is on at Fort Desoto, however, it may be connected to the beach at the north end; I'm not sure. Glad you liked the quiche photo also! It really was delicious!
Hey Candis! Yes that is the place. We were there a bout two weeks after the ghost hunters. One of the actors told us they had been there. It is the coolest place. We found the tunnels just before we had to leave. This is a link to a photo taken there by my brother. One of Laura's photographs from our visit to the Yorktown Battlefield last week has been selected as the "Just Photography Weekly Pick" on the photo sharing website... Just-Photography.net (link below).
Her photograph is of another photographer using a large format camera to photograph the battlefield while perched atop one of the British Redoubts.
We just joined this site last week and already two members from there have joined Webshots too after seeing some of our photos... pretty cool!!!
