About Me more
My things are made entirely by my hand holding a needle. The pieces are spontaneous and without a beginning plan except for color. Sometimes, even the color combinations get changed in the midst of stitching. I hope you enjoy having a look.

Can you share where you get your little boxes from? I am a beginner on silk ribbon embroidery and have been trying to find some for a long time. I would also like to know if you have a contact to purchase the little victorian frames for putting the finished silk ribbon work into. Please advise and thank you! Kathy email: kpurk@earthlink.net

Hi Orinda, I want to thank you for your comments that you left in my webshots album. Basically, the teabag tiles are small squares of a digital design that are printed out in multiples on paper, then cut out, and folded into a "medallion" that are then added to a paper card. The term "teabag" originated in Holland when an origami enthusiast was sipping her morning tea and thought she could make something with all those teabag envelopes she emptied daily.. and Voila! a new hobby developed! *smile* I also have a photobucket that you're welcome to explore when time permits: http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c191/d0npen/ I also want to say, I spend some delightful time exploring your incredibly beautiful work. It's all exquisite beyond words! I admire your talent immensely! big hugs, Penny

Dear Orinda, I sent your delightful cards to my friends for Christmas. They thought the cards are wonderful and, of course, so do I. Thank you again. I rarely visit Webshots any more; response time is terrible, 2 or 3 minutes for a page to load and I have a cable modem. No other website responds so slow. Merry Christmas, Diane

Hello, Love your buttons. They are exquisitely beautiful. I wonder if I could make some. Are any of them for sale? I linked here from the article on CQmagonline by Julie Yonge Wendy
