Hi Cornelis Richard from PG here hope all is well with you home after 8 weeks in curacao unfortunateky only got to see you a couple of times. still taking great pictures will be back in Curacao probably end November for two more dry dockings. next stop for me pleasurable ship inspection on singapore. hope to catch some photos of the marines you took at this years navy weekend my grandson military crackers hopefully you have some good shots take care my friend and look forward to seeing you on the plaza terrace richard

Hello Cornelis, I just became a member of Web Shots,because I was looking for pictures of the Deep Water Drill Ship " Deep Ocean Clarion ". I was lucky enough to get hired on today as a Cook. Thanks to OSSA in with BP. I can't wait to be able to fly out and land on the helo pad being one of the fist employees to set foot on her decks. The photos you took of her are incredible, I wanted to let my people in Arizona see what there son-in-law is going to be working on by e-mailing them a few of the photos you were lucky enough to get. I tried to save and print them out but the system told me I had to be one of your friends. I to love ships and boats and got goose bumps when the Instructor today told me i was going to be stationed on one of there new facilities called Clarion. I went totaly apeshit when I saw that 750 foot beauty, and I GET TO WORK ON IT!!! Fantastic. Would you please consider me as a friend? Mr. Henry Kephart, AKA SSTurttle. have a turttly day.

Hoi Kees, Dank voor je mooie commentaar, heb nog veel foto's om te plaatsen, maar ondanks dat ik 24/24u genoodzaakt in bed doorbreng ontbreekt me de tijd, we zijn op veel schepen websites actief, maar ook met ons andere hobby 'muziek', zoeken naar nieuwe talenten, promoten en beetje steunen op Sellaband, AKA music, Labtones, ReverbNation... Zelf beheer ik ook het webgebeuren van 'STRATO-VANI Orchestra', the instrumental proud of Belgium. Het is een project van een goede vriend, inmiddels 8 cd's + Kerst cd. Het orkest maakt geen klassieke muziek, maar moderne bewerkingen van hits van toen en nu, vergelijkbaar met James Last. Ik doe dit alles gratis met veel plezier, we krijgen in ruil wel de cd's. Misschien heb je er ook al van gehoord, inmiddels op de radio's in NL meer gespeeld en geapprecieerd dan in eigen land. Het is steeds leuk in jouw foto's rond te neuzen, ben soms wel beetje jaloers op het mooie weer op Curaçao, ook al kom ik niet meer buiten, een lekker zonnetje door het raam is aangenamer dan somber grijs weer. Hallo Cornellis, Mijn naam is Martin en ik vond toevallig foto's van de Pelikaan tijdens de marinedagen in 2008. Je hebt foto's van het rondje in de annabaai die het schip maakte in de ochtend van de marinedagen. Hello Cornelis, My name is John and I live in Sydney, Australia. I was telling a friend about spending one month on Smit-Lloyd 33 when I was an apprentice in August 1971 working out of Barrys Beach in Victoria, Australia when "33" was an oil rig tender in the Bass Strait. I "googled" Smit-Lloyd 33 and couldn't believe my eyes when I found your photos. Would you like some more images of "33" as I think I have some stored in a box, I could scan them for you.

Hallo Cornelis Ik ben Ria uit Deventer en heb een vraag. Ik zou je graag op mijn Webshots vriendenlijst willen hebben maar om een technische reden krijg ik een melden als ik een invitatie stuur dat jouw site is verplaatst.
