  • Hi John, Thank you, for your lovely comment, in the "Our Beautiful Home" album. It is greatly appreciated. I had a 110 camera for years. That is the camera, that was used in my older pictures. All The Best, Teresa

  • Hello John, Thank you for the comments you left for me yesterday. I was curious about the "White Ghosts of the North" and think you were hinting at snow buntings. I've only seen them up in the UP though supposedly they do come down to southern Wisconsin, too. It's very cold here presently but the birds are still very active. Sunny, too, and that's good for photos. Cheers...

  • Dear John, sounds like a war letter doesn't it, I hope that is your name and welcomed your comments on my Little tadpole "Henry" and my best friend "Edward". Like you said they are both V.I.P's to me, Henry born from emergency Caeser 10 weeks early for lack of movement has had a struggle but light at the end of the long tunnel and we hope he will be home soon, he weighed 740 grams at birth and is now almost 3 kilo, but still a little reliant on Oxygen. His Mum Loren spends 12 hours a day with him and does everything for him except medical work and I know she is tired. My little friend Ed is the idol of my eye and we are never far from each other. He has been my companion for almost 13 years and we have seen a few ups and downs but come through like troupers. Have a good day and keep smiling, someone might smile back. I liked your sense of humour about reading. hugs, Shirley

  • Is with a great pleasure that I have got your comments about my album “Bretagna”. I am truly surprised ! Read that you wrote abouth technical advice is wery appreciate, but that yuo have write on that you see in the images and particularly as you see that, (have) open the doors of your thoughts. Now I’ve a deep knowledge of your soul, of your heart and what is important for you. I know that you are an excellent photographer, I see that in your pictures, in your favourite subjects, in the tones and in the colours that you like, but particularly I’ve see that you’re a very sensible man, you love the Nature, the beautiful things of the Creation, the People. You’re a great observer and also a few daydreamer. You see that is not visible, but you take a road and you go past the door (The tea garden), to the end of the traks for know who maked it (Sables d’or les Pins 5), beiond the closer look were you prefear see other detail (St, Malo’ 4), between the ancient stones to walk on the dirt path (Perros Guirec 7) or in to the abandonated wood hulled in the graveyard for boots to see more details, can entry in there, know the story of their navigations (Douarnez 1). Unfortunately I can not give you further information on the graveyard for boots, the place was not accessible. I’ve shot a number ..10/12 to the waves of St. Malo’ 4 but the sun is overexposed in all, to make up for it I’m showered too. I can inform you of Guimiliau. This particular sculptures builded around the church and wall in enclosure, sacred space destined to the community of the village were is the churchyard, the ossuary and this sculpture colled “Calvary”, were building in the years 1550 / 1680. Rapresent the figures ( more than 200) of the passion of Christ. Very beautiful the church.

  • Ciao John, I've just finished the compilation of my new album "Bretagna" realized in the holidays of may 2005. I'm greeting if you make a comment to my work. With appreciation for you and your pictures.

  • Ciao John, I'm glad that you like my picture "Le Mont St. Michel" and I am grateful for the advices that you give me. I know the property of the circular polarizer that I used in my old "Icarex 35 S". In the may 2005 I've not the filter polarizer for the Epson E5400 and now I've not the E5400. I use the older Coolpix E4300 or the Canon PowerShot and the Ixus of my sons. I see the picture "Octagon Barn Family" The results are in evidence. Thanks and compliments for your pictures Sandro

  • Thanks so much, John, for your encouragment and foraccepting my 'hand of friendship'! I remembered the Arch photo and looked it up anyway-I can't believe that was taken with a small pixel camera like this!! It's such a great photo! Please pray for my family-I live alone (except for Precious-or 'kitty kat' as I sometimes call her) in a Seniors Community, but my son's Aaron (21) and Rob (39) live in our mobile home. Foreclosure was suppose to begine today and neither have a place to go. Rob has a car that decided to break down last night, but Aaron has no transportation. He is bipolar and goes through suicidal depression. Our (my-I'm a fairly new widow) daughter is 43 with 3 sons, 21-19 & 17. she lives with a gentleman who took her and the 2 youngest boys in-they sleep in the living room (all 3 of them-she is not Carl's girl friend). I pray constantly for them and my best friend, Ursula, who went back home to Germany (she's American now) to be with her Mother who as far as I know died today. She is finally where she so wanted to be-with Jesus! I talk too much-please let me know of any prayer needs either in your family or church-I would consider it an honor to help in prayer. God bless you...Janie

  • So your Pastor! There are a lot of Pastors here in Webshots. I didn't get to get a camera or printer as I thought I would-medical bills and my needy family took the money. What I have is a small Polaroid ion 230, 2.1 mega pixel digital. My youngest son sold it to me a yr. ago-I know nothing about it except that it's cheap, it needs both a memory and battery stick. I have yet to figure out how to use it! lol Every month I think I'll be able to get the sticks, but I'm still having to support my 39 yr. old son! Though I can see some reasoning, sometimes I don't understand why the Lord allows somethings-strengthen? I look at the past ( marriage & family life and wonder why it had to be that way-Chuck was very controlling & that made things hard. I laugh now when I think I was strong!) Even though the camera is 'dinky', it's what I have and I'll TRY to get the parts and we'll see what it does. Won't be very good, but it's a start! I've been a part of Webshots for yrs. and my family are upset with me-they probally think I could've given them the money! I have no idea what the '230' & '2.1 mega pixels' mean-I have an idea what a pixel is, but 'just' an idea. lol I guess I've yacked enough, God bless and keep you, John-would you like to be friends? janie I really did enjoy your album!!

  • Pastor John, Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures. I never realized that Michigan was so beautiful...its like a unknown gem. Leaves me longing to visit. My father-in-law is a retired Presbyterian minister in New York State and is the one that turned me onto photgraphy and as it turns out, my son as well who is now a photography major in college. I very much enjoyed your albums and look forward to more. Have a great weekend.

  • John, I saw in your profile that you are a pastor of a rural church. My father-in-law is also a pastor. I thought you might like the photo I did of a rural church in Pennsylvania. Just check out my webshots album titled "Pennsylvania".
