About Me more
Quilter, wife to Dean mom to Sean and Loren, grammy to Jacob and Samantha, gardener, reader... I think that's enough, don't you? I live in Mid-Michigan in the USA. I work to support my quilting habit, and if I could quilt 24/7, that would be just fine!

Caron, I just learned about the Dear Jane, I guess I've lived a sheltered life. I am now looking for the book. Can you provide any suggestions for a newby...wow really new. I'm been quilting and sewing for years but always worked.....shez, I haven't lived. Any tips you can provide or web spaces to join will be greatly appreciated. Lindy of Utah

Caron, thanks for your kind words...glad you enjoyed my pix. Sharp points? Well, I love to work with batiks, which make cutting narrower seam allowances possible, and that helps. A wooden toothpick is useful, with a little -gasp- spit applied as "glue." As always, good sharp scissors, and a lot of patience help too.

Caron, your DJ blocks are coming along beautifully. I just love the fabrics and colourway you are doing them in. Fabulous work. Thank you for sharing. Ellx
