Hi Clark; I just got your message that was nice days old. No snow here..... just rain by the bucket load. It is exactly how is was here precisely one year ago. Do you remember what today is? Just last week I was visiting my daughter in Bend and I took along my laptop so that I can write when the mood hits me. I remember coming back from Maui last year and my laptop was frozen up because I had tried to upload too many photos. It was like a month before I was able to get into my computer again and I had totally forgotten about my journal.... until last week. How timely!!! Anyway, I hope that you are well and that the economy will continue to rise.
Aloha Clark, Mahalo for your nice comments on my Alaska album! It's always a great pleasure for me to get acknowledgement from such an expert photographer as you! All my best wishes! Gyuri
Hiiii Clark!!!! Thanks so much for your lovely note of congratz on my "Mother Nature's Jewelry" Feature in _Outdoors_ today!!!! I'm honored!!! Best regards, Lois
Dear Clark, I just wanted to say thank you for your nice comments on my featured POTD (The Mesmerizing Badlands) on Oct 16. I greatly appreciate your encouraging words. Thanks again. ~Dilip
Dear Clark, I thought you might be interested to see my Featured Photo of the Day (POTD) on webshots today. The title of the photo is "The Mesmerizing Badlands". Thanks. Dilip
Glad you like my album on Angkor Wat. It's quite a spectacular place, and every time I visit there, there's also something new to see and take a picture of. Best regards. John
Hi Clark, as I was on a holiday, my reaction on your visit of my Los Angels is belated. Thanks very much for your comments, very much appreciated! I do agree about the first Marilyn Monroe not really looking like the real one. The second one on the contrary could be a clone. :)) The city LA has not impressed me very much, it misses the atmosphere of San Francisco. Nevertheless I had a great time in Hollywood and the Universal Studios. Greezt, Tjebbe
Hi Clark, thanks so much for taking the time to visit my Tumacacori National Historical Park Mission album. I am looking forward to seeing the ones you take when you do your AZ shoot. Your albums are amazing and bring much please to all. Thanks so much for sharing and dropping in, please do so anytime.
Hi Clark. Thank you so much for your very knid compliments about my grandaughter. Of course we think she a a prcious jewel. She will be starting dance lessons this Saturday. I am so anxious to see how she does as she just loves to dance and I think she shows great promise! She is however too petit to be a model as you suggested although it was a lovely compliment. And I have to agree with you that our grandchildren are indeed GOD'S gift to us to be treasured always.
Thanks again...Maggie
I seem to get others photos in hotmail. I hope they didn't go in the junk folder and I deleted them not knowing. That's the only email I have. Can you try again? Sorry.
Hi Clark, Did you get my email I sent last week, about my photo you had redone in Photo Shop? I would love to see it. If you didn't I can re sent it. Thanks Myrna
Aloha,
Thank your for your kind comments on my images. I am truly honored!

Much Aloha,
Dave~
Hi Clark. The Russell lupin is an import to New Zealand. They are found gracing the roadsides of the central South Island. Flowers from November to January. Your comments make my special day so much sweeter. Bernard
I will look it up. I love the Dead scene. As a matter of fact, I consider myself a Wharf Rat. Meaning I attend Dead and Dead related shows, and I no longer drink or use. I have over 7 1/2 yrs under my belt. Photography is something I picked up while in Recovery. I can't go any deeper into how I do it on this forum due to Anonymity issues. Lets just say I do it "One Day at a Time". San Francisco is a Magical Place, especially clean. Now I can remember where I went, and who I left with. I would love an opportunity to re-shoot those shots. I lived around the corner from 710 Ashbury for 5 yrs.
No, it is not the Dead House. You are correct the Dead House is at 710 Ashbury. This house photographed is on Fillmore a half block north of Japantown.
Thanks very much for your kind comment on the first place for my picture CC Contrasting colors. What a lovely and beautiful great surprise for me today ! It's a honor for me ! Have a nice day. Daniel
Dear Clarck, I've asked about the Nikon P90 that you have suggested me. Indeed, The Cameras seller told me that it's a very good Camera, but it's to big for my needs and demands, even so it's a little cheaper than the Panasonic LX3 that I've planed to buy before...He recomended me of the Olimpus U-9000 that feets my needs. It has lens from 28 width, so I can take photos of big buildings from a short distance... It can process automatically Panoramic photos from 2 and 3 shots, So I can take longer photos of the view around, and the most important for me, is that it's menu is in my language - Hebrew (with visual demonstration), so it's very friendly and clear for me to use. I love my new Camera...:-)) and hope to take many many photos during my trip in Canada soon...:-) I'm going to visit Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and the Thousand Islands, and Niagra falls... When I'll come back, I'll open a new Album in Webshots for this trip, and share with you all my experiences ...:-) Thank you and best regards, Lea
