AIC = Auxilary Idle Control, rather then buying the factory one ($100-$200) I built my own. Basically the two main things I use it for: first off on cold mornings rather then the truck trying to warm up at an idle which would take forever I crank my AIC on to about 1000rpms and let it get warmed up good before work. Second, its really nice to have when jumping a dead battery on another vehicle, because you can just crank the rpms up and not have to sit there.
