Hi Carla...I went and checked out your bathrm. Love that too. I'd like wainscot too but don't know if hubby would do that. He put it in house we had before, up a little more than half way on kitchen wall. Yes, I think your kitchen cupboards would look really nice in that color. I'd love to do mine woodwork & cupbds but they are oak (& not sure but it may be laminate).

Hi Carla......Haven't talked to you for awhile. Thanks so much for your nice comments. I think I like the same display you like on the shelf too. Yes I did make the wax pantry cakes. I just couldn't see waiting hrs. & hrs. making them in the oven. I bought the lamb but I still want to make one....its just that this one was cheaper than the mold would have cost me unless I could have found a used one maybe. Again, thanks for looking. I don't think many look since there are other forms. Hope to talk to you again.

Hi, Carla. I haven't fallen off the face of the earth:() I'm just really busy with work and kids. Our computer got a bad trojan virus, so I'm typing this from my mom's computer. This is the second time in one week we've gotten this virus--both on our computer and my husband's laptop. We're not sure where it's coming from--maybe my daughter's Facebook. It's horrible being without a computer:( Barb

Carla, I would love to send you pumpkins. I still have to finish them up first but will try and finish them in the next week or so...we just discovered that the dish washer has been leaking, possibly for a long time, and the floor along the sink area is rotten. Our ceramic tiles were starting to break. That is how we discovered it. My whole kitchen is torn apart and we are just praying that we won't have to replace that entire wall of cabinets. Our kitchen is only 2 years old...I am sick over it! So because of that, I may be a little while until I can send you pumpkins but I will send them. I would love to share some with you. pam

Carla, it was nice to hear from you. I just got home from a vacation in the Outer Banks and haven't been on my computer. I don't seem to have much computer time these days, working full time, volunteering, and general chores around the house take so much of my time. Since today is the last day of my vacation...I start back to work tomorrow...I have decided I am going to spend the WHOLE day treating myself to computer time. You asked about my pumpkins too. I made some a few weeks ago but they aren't quite finished. Once I get them done I will be glad to send you a few...would 3 be alright? Thank you for keeping in touch. pam

Hi: I noted your comment to Home On the Hill regarding her NE vacation. I am from NE and have always lived here. I thought you'd like to know that your husbands old "Fort" is a fort no more...Fort Devens is now simply known as "Devens" and is a community all unto it's own. All the on-base housing was converted into Condominiums a few years ago, and they are TRYING to become a separate town. Not sure what progress they are making. I live not very far from there...and you cna see NE on a shoe-string budget..trust me. Not sure how far away you are, but this is the time of year to come! We have EVERYTHING within 45 minutes..the mountains, the ocean, lakes, Boston, and most importantly Foliage and Apples! LOTS of apples! Regards, Donna (DMR0717@aol.com)

Hi Carla! Thanks for your comments and thanks for the idea to frame that photo of the old chair and flowers. Great idea - why didn't I think of it? I'm not crazy about lots of color so that pic would be perfect. I may try graying it down to look like an old photo and use a barnwood frame. Thanks!

Thanks for looking at my pics!..The paint color on my kitchen cabinets is a custom color...It was an outside color that I had mixed for indoors...I had it in my other house also...it's sort of a drabby taupy color...Jen
