  • Thanks for the Congrats! I can't believe this is the second time I have had the honor of a featured album on Webshots. I was so surprised when opening my emails that morning and found out that my album was featured... Daisy Mae should be the one to be honored for giving us two absolutely beautiful puppies. They are precious and spoiled rotten...

  • Thanks for your kind message! I use a lot of different things for the snow. The whole village surface is constructed of sculpted styrofoam, which I cover with plaster-coated fabric strips. These are available at most craft stores. I paint over in spots with a pale blue acrylic paint, usually in contour areas, and then seal that surface with Glossy Mod Podge. For snow drifts etc., I use a product called SnowTex, which is made by DecoArts, which is also available at most craft stores during the winter season. Last, for the powdery snow, I cut pieces of styrofoam and run them through a small food processor (which I use only for that purpose, as the styrofoam will ruin your processor for food prep) until powdery, and then sift that onto the village display. On top of that, I scatter Ultra Fine clear/iridescent glitter. I hope that helps! Thanks again!
