  • Thanks for stopping by to visit my page, Chuck... However, those shots were made LAST week, when we were using air conditioning... This weekend we have some of your Canadian Cold visiting and we're expecting a hard freeze tonight and tomorrow and tomorrow night!!! Heat is back on, but not as much as you have to use, I suspect...   • Chuck, you made my day! I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but I've been fighting a bad head cold that has been hanging on since November. The darn thing just doesn't want to go away! I'll be going back to my doctor next week for the third time to try to finally rid myself of it. ANYWAY, I was THRILLED to read that you visited our Goshen Restaurant back in the day when it was a going concern. I thoroughly enjoyed my upbringing in Lower South River/Antigonish. Even though I longed to move back to the big city of Halifax,it would take a while to realize just how great a life I had in the small community. I visited Antigonish this summer and was saddened to see that "The Goshen" is no more! The 3rd owner after we sold it (1973) turned it into a Bar & Grill (I think) but it was closed in July. It looked like no one had lived there for ages. It was a dilapidated ugly sight to see. Oh well, my memories of it's heyday are alive and well! <grin> Cheers from Halifax.   • Thanks for making remarks. Yes, geography really interests me. I never go anywhere without my atlas. I like to trace a person to a place and then learn about his/her world. It also makes me aware that my "world" here in the south is rather small. Regarding changing the photo on home page - Go to your home page and at the right upper corner you'll find "edit" and "change picture". A pencil shows the latter. Take it from there.   • Very interesting albums. The softness of the nature surrounding all these amazing structures that u have captured so well. I find framing, perspectives and playing with colour nice too. The sunlight makes some cool shadows too. Nice work.
