Dear Chris~~~Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season, and a happy and healthy 2009!~~~Warmest regards,Bob~~~(I really enjoy your many wonderful shots of VT I see on Webshots!)
Hi Crhis, Yes Italy was great, we had some rainy weather for a few days and unfortunately we both came down with a virus that got us for a week out of the 3 we were gone. However, that aside the scenery was magnificent. We were in Venice, Florence, Vinci, Sienna, Rome, all over Tuscany and ay Lake Garda. I still have about 1000 more images to go through. I have been playing catch-up since returning. How was Paris?? Hope you're all well and see you next year.
Thanks for your message, Chris. If you get the chance to look at my photos, you can't miss, that I am still living in Vermont. There is another Vermonter, he has a very nice winter album with shots from the Northfield area. If you get a chance, you might want to leave a comment or two or more by the photos you like. He doesn't have too many yet. I just found him yesterday by clicking on travel, Vermont, recent albums. You can find him now also in my bookmarks (gboyd1047). Glad you liked the Arabian!
Hello Chris: My name is Pat. I was born in Barre. You took a picture of my Grandfather's headstone. Homer E Savoie, in the cemetery in Montpelier. Did you know him or was it just random chance? Eager to hear from you. I am now living in Northern Calif. and miss Vermont terribly.
FINALLY, I found another vermonter. Hope to remember to get look at your albums. I am anxious to see them. I have a few pictures of Vermont in my Gallery 1 album and Creative Challenge2, and Montpelier. Woodstock is beautiful. I did a few bird tours with VINS, BUT HAVE NOT BEEN THERE THIS YEAR.
Hi Chris, Life has conspired against me in a number of ways to delay the posting of albums here the accident we had in Philadelphia left me with a couple of injuries that are having to be treated. Our oldest is going through a divorce, my son needed to move, etc etc etc. I have more pics to post. I was having some problems with one of my IS lenses and I will likely have to send it in for repair as it was not working reliably the whole time we were there. I also had to do a master reset on my camera to resolve some issues. I'm hoping our next trip goes a lot smoother! I will be posting some photos I took in Woodstock with an extreme wideangle lens, where I intentionally distored some of the photos. I tried to throw some whimsy in. I will post it within days. Take care and stay in touch.
Randy
Hi Chris, Carol and I will be arriving in Vermont about the 10th or 11th of October. We'll stay mostly in Woodstock. Will let you know more as the date gets closer. Randy
