Hello dear Charles, Thanks for all your good wishes for my vacation in California! Well I can tell you I had a wonderful vacation and such a great time with Johnny! Sorry for not coming sooner, but was very busy working on all my photos, so many photos and such a great memories. Thanks so much, Khaled, for your generous comment on my recent challenge winner and subsequent POTD. The thrill of this experience has not abated yet! Several members have asked about this photo, so here's the low down. No, I didn't hang on the wing of the plane as some have suggested, but I WAS blessed with the cleanest windows in my entire flying career, just spotless! Though the atmosphere near the ground at takeoff was very dirty, as we ascended from Denver to Salt Lake City, the air got very clear and clean, another blessing. This shot was made over Utah, I think, but it could be Colorado you're seeing, so residents of both states can probably claim this interesting landscape. Farmers who patiently coax crops from this extremely hostile land with a combination of irrigation and perspiration have my undying respect. Again, thanks so very much for your support and kindness; both are appreciated more than you know. Regards, Fred
