Hi Barb...regarding the birds...I use a 200mm lens and an 800mm lens to catch those shots and I focus manually...auto focus will make me loose a lot of good shots. Regarding the Eagles...not not touched up and I use one of the two lens's above. They are all taken at the San Antonio ZOO...The eagles cannot fly, but the Egrets are free to roam as they please.

Hi Barb, first off, yes, and thank you for the invite. I am truely sorry for you rloss of your home . What a terrible thing to have happen. And on top of that a loos of a loved pet also. I definately understand that one. You may download any of my pics. I do that with alot of photos that other people make and I have a HUGE array of screensavers that rotate every 5 t0 10 sec. I got a new camera this last Father's Day, poor George, my old camera (Kodak) breaks, and he get s me a new one on Fathers day, we were on a vacation, hey, whats a good man to do? I have a Canon PowerShot SX10IS now and love it, that is what I used to get the moon shots. Set it to M for manual, zoomed in as close as possible and still staying in focus and click.....oh I was totally jazzed. Up until now I was taking shots with no definition, shaky and hiding the moon behind tree limbs and clouds, it worked but I definately like this better. Soooo. Thank you Barb for the information. I received my cockatiel as a birthday present. I think it was bought in a pet store and I assume the poor thing is traumatized at seeing hands going into the cage and his roomies disappear. What a way to live. Anyway, I do enjoy him and he does sometimes take treats - crackers or bread from my hand, but we can't touch him. Either way he's a cutie pie and I imitate his whistle and we whistle together sometimes. Maybe my next one I could get a little baby and hand feed him. Thank you very much
