Thank you Barb for the information. I received my cockatiel as a birthday present. I think it was bought in a pet store and I assume the poor thing is traumatized at seeing hands going into the cage and his roomies disappear. What a way to live. Anyway, I do enjoy him and he does sometimes take treats - crackers or bread from my hand, but we can't touch him. Either way he's a cutie pie and I imitate his whistle and we whistle together sometimes. Maybe my next one I could get a little baby and hand feed him.
Thank you very much
Hello again, thanks for commenting on my photos and albums again. You were asking a question, this is what you said:
-----------------
This is an adorable shot. Like the way you took it from above him. Looks like his little cheeks are puffed out, and my, what a lovely crest he has, with the mixed yellow & gray feathers..:> oh yea, why were you wearing the pink gloves?
-------------------
Ummm, well... thats not really gloves.
It was my sweater i had on.
I just dont want him on my hands because he doesnt really like my hands, and he nips at them!
And that hurts sometimes! =)
Hello there barb, how are you doing? I am doing fine... but anyways, thanks for looking at my ablums and giving then comments, and I also really enjoy your albums too. You got sooo many photos and love them all.
In fact, my birdy ozzy doesnt talk.
He will only sing, eat, play, cuddle and chew- which drives me crazy... because he chewed up one of his toys, lol.... anyways, thanks for everything and hope you have a wonderful day .... Oh and by the way, I have uploaded more ozzy pics, so if you would like then you can go check them out- anyways, thanks!!

Thank you so much for your visit and wonderful notes on my collection Spirit of Delight! I am happy you are enjoying them, it is one of my favourite collections! I had to force myself to stop uploading. There are already 210 images in the album. I could easily add 2000 more but most of my friends on this site would probably protest!! ahaha!! I wish you a wonderful evening Barb! Sharon
I want to say thank you to all of my friends for making me feel so honored from having 5 photos featured today: Travel-Oregon, Travel-Michigan, Travel-Alaska, Outdoors-Scenery and Nature, and Outdoors-Sunsets. It is so rewarding to see that people enjoy the beauty and splendor of nature that I have had the opportunity to capture with my camera. Thanks so much for visiting my photos and for all the encouraging comments made! I appreciate it very very much! I wish you and your loved ones a sincere Happy Holidays! ~Randy
Dear Barb. I just returned from a trip to Holland, Michigan where I was born and raised. And to the beach where I spent so very much time when I was growing up. To the sandy shores next to the lighthouse and pier that became my whole world during those endless summers of youthful bliss. I also devoted a great deal of time and effort to creating an album of these places during my trip. Places that stirred the memories and emotions that are such a big part of my past. So I would be honored if I could share these 31 images with you. You'll see the picturesque and famous lighthouse, scenic Lake Michigan, the lovely beach, elegant sailboats, luxury yachts, and an unbelievable Lake Michigan sunset, along with some history, personal thoughts, poetry, and the lyrics from a favorite song. I hope you can find time to visit this album and that you enjoy the images if you do! The name of the album is HOLLAND HARBOR. Thanks so very much! ~Randy

Also, I uploaded five new sunset silhouette photos of Judy (and Oshie) last night in my new SUNS OF SEPTEMBER album (first 5 photos), and want to enter one in a silhouette contest. So I am asking all my friends for feedback on which one is their favorite. If you have a moment or two I would sure appreciate your input. Thanks!
~Randy
hey thanks for all your glowing comments again on my pics....the poppies and barn I passed everyday this summer and FINALLY got it! (have to watch my back for cars coming!)Glad you enjoyed my tributes to Summer...and sure hope yours was good too...:) ~April
Hey Barb... how goes things? I recently had an experience that was one of those once in a lifetime events that a person never, ever forgets. I rank it right up there with soloing in a little Cessna in the 80s, scuba diving Palancar Reef in Cozumel, and taking an ultra light ride in Cabo. I would like to share this experience with you, so I have documented it in a new album titled WHALES AHOY! I think you will enjoy it! And I hope that through this album I can somehow instill some small portion of the profound excitement that I experienced! Thanks! -Randy
Barb, thanks for all of the realy nice comments you made over my albums, we seem to like the same types of things. The Valle Vidal area of NM is a very special place.
Thanks so very much Barb for your marvelous and stimulating comments on my photos yesterday. I'm truly thrilled that you liked them, and liked "your" photo! You made my day! Have a good weekend, and thanks again!!! -Randy
I wasn't sure if you had the time to go through my "Appreciation" album to find the photo I dedicated to you, so I wanted to let you know it is here just in case you hadn't, and forgive me if I somehow missed your acknowledgement:

I have a new album titled "Appreciation" that contains a photo dedicated to each one of my Webshots friends (in random order) which I'm proud to say includes you. It is a special album to celebrate the 500,000 views milestone that my photos recently passed. I am so very thrilled yet humbled that so many people enjoy seeing the beautiful places and things that I have had the pleasure of photographing, and I will be forever grateful for all that I have learned and for all the enjoyment I’ve had from seeing your photos too. You, my friend, make all the effort it takes to upload, title, and describe these photos, worthwhile. Thank you very, very much for your support, encouragement, and friendship! I hope you enjoy this special album and "your photo", and I look forward to sharing even more of each others photos in the weeks and years to come as we all grow together. Sincerely, -Randy
Hi again! Hope you are well! I'm writing to let you know that I just finished another new album titled "The Orford Reef" that I think you would enjoy. Its a collection of photos with these scenic offshore sea stacks as the main feature, but it also includes photos of the adjacent shoreline and general area. It includes lots of interesting narrative and some really spectacular views. It has taken me days to create this album and I'm toying with the idea of publishing it. So I would sure appreciate it if you could take a look at it and let me know what you think! Any comments would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!
