Dear Mr Clarke, I am an artist working on an installation using world war II reconnaissance photos. I would appreciate any hi-res reconnaissance of European battle fields that are horizonless photos. I own several originals myself and would be willing to trade. I am a serious artist and college art professor. Check out my website at GaryEmrichart.com. Gemrich@rmcad.edu. Thanks

Mr. Clarke, I'm pleased to have been referred to your album on 414 Sqn. I am a former member of 414 Sqn and I have indications that my father may have been a member of 414 Sqn during WWII but I'm not 100% certain of that. For sure, like your dad, he flew the Mustang 1 in the same recce role as 414 did, from 129 Wing (RCAF) which I believe was in Gatwick. I'd like to give you his name by email if you don't mind looking in your records if it would show up. He may have been in 430 Sqn but I'm inclined to believe it was 414. You can contact me at sverville@ns.sympatico.ca Best Regards Serge

Hi Mr Clarke, just found your WW2 recce photographs whilst searching for material for a research project I am doing. Your two photos of Thurso Castle and its associated military camp are startling, I have been searching for years for a visual record of this camp. I would very much like to take up your offer of high res scans of these two images and also to ask if there are any others of the north of Scotland in your collection. I can be contacted at drew_kan@tiscali.co.uk. Regards, Drew Guttridge

Mr Clarke, I was directed to your collection by another WWII RCAF enthusiast. Could you please contact me at sbsauve@rogers.com ? If possible I would like to obtain some copies of the files you've put up on your collection. Some really nice stuff there! Cheers, Steve Sauvé Ottawa

Hello Mr. Clarke I would love to get some .tif files of your Dads pictures of the RN capitol ships. Especially HMS Prince of Wales, which is just days before her encounter with Bismarck. You Dad must have seen HMS Hood just ahead of her. By any chance did he take a picture? If he did it would be the second or third last picture of her. And the one of Warspite. Such detail. Please contact me at mgell@shaw.ca These picture would make my models even better. Mike

Enjoyed your e-mail about your father's flying career and your interest in aviation. Thanks too for your kind words about my aviation pictures. Unfortunately the e-mail you sent to my Hotmail seemed to evaporated before I could respond. Thanks, Blake
