Hi Cat: Thanks for your comments and for visiting my photos ... Re: my "2 Horsepower" Country entry ... I left the farm before I was old enough to "hitch-up a team" ... Years later, I raked a field of hay using a "dump-rake" and my uncle's team of horses ... Away from the barn, it was dump ...... dump ........ dump ........ dump-turnthehorsesarounda nddumpdumpdumpdump .... pull-back-on-the-reins ... turn the horses sloowwlly around and ... repeat as needed. ;-) Marv (BerryMan)

Hi CJ, Thanks for taking the time to comment on my Country Lane photo. There is a road that goes from Wilsonville to Newberg. I have driven it a few times for UPS, but we are not allowed to carry a camera at work. So one Sunday last October I got up early and headed out there to shoot the sunrise. This spot is actually a driveway on the south side of the road. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw it that morning, I slammed on my brakes and backed up to it, jumped out and started to shoot. On the road, about 2 miles from the Starbucks and Albertsons in Wilsonville is a horse ranch. There is a big sclupture of some horses there. This spot is maybe 1/2 a mile or so from there, on the other side of the street. I might get down there again this year. Next weekend would probably be good for color in the leaves. Tomorrow morning might be good too! It will depend on the weather. YOu should check it out and see what kind of shots you can get there. Randy (now living in Vancouver, Wa.)
