Hello, I do have more geneological/ biographical information on Sarah Kester. I have sent a Webshots friend request to you. When you respond, kindly provide your email address, and I will forward the information to you.

Greetings,
I am interested in the Kester Sampler that you have photos of. Specifically, the descendant information of this person. I research Kester lines and would be grateful if you could send me a note to let me know that you want to help me with this.
Regards.
Hello,
I am delighted to hear from another Hormann descendant! Yes, I would be happy to share whatever Hormann data I have with you, though I have not come across any of the names you have listed.
The Glass Works specialized in ruby-glass exit sign globes and all kinds of globes & chimneys for oil lamps, some of their work was highly decorative.
None of it survives in our family, but I do recall a story my grandfather used to tell, about his father stumbling on the stairs and dropping one of the last surviving articles- a ruby globe (the ruby color used to be obtained by throwing gold into the molten glass). The factory also produced leaded glass signs and windows. (It is quite possible that some of these survive in the old house on Leiper street)
I have sent a Webshots friend invitation to you with my email address.
Best regards,
Hi,
I've stumbled upon you album while searching for information about Ferdinand's brother Charles Hormann who was my great great grandfather and also worked at the Jefferson Flint Glass Works. You have many more pics than I do, but I was wondering if you have any information about Charles and Mary Hormann. Their children were Emma, Carrie, Amanda, Lowrie and Bess.
Thanks so much for posting these pics.
Do you have any glass from the factory? What kind of glass did they make?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Meredith
