Hello Cactusgege! Its been such a long time since we spoke. I had no computer service for so long and of course many things have happened over the years. You still have the most awesome photos of cactus! I have recently started collecting more myself and I finally was able to identify one plant that I had not been able to identify. It ended up being a Madagascar Palm. I hope to catch up and keep up and so glad you are still here.
Hello,
I am a stapeliad collector from Romania. Would you be interested in cutting exchange?
Here are some of my plants:

I was looking for something on the internet when I came across your album. Wow you have beautiful pictures of cacti. I am also a cacti collector and I sometimes have seeds of them on offer. If you are interested you can view my website at www.lifestyleseeds.co.za

Hello, I have just posted an album of various cactii and succulents I photographed at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces, NM. I only recognize very broad categories of these plants, and wonder if you might share better identifications for plant lovers. I will be very happy to give you credit for the identification. The album is located at http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/album/576416462xztuXU and my email address is chargerfree@mindspring.co m Thank you, Charlotte

Was wondering if you could help. Next year I want to go to Bahia and learn Portuguese but I'm also a huge plant enthusiast. Would you happen to know if there is a botanical garden, or a garden centre where I could volunteer while I'm there. Since youve just been and I see you are great cacti enthusiast was wondering if you could help.
Thank you,
Lorena,

Thank you for viewing my Tornado album, and for the nice comments! No one died in the area I took the photos, but there were 3 deaths in our county (just further northeast a little ways). A husband & his pregnant wife was in the baptist church when the tornado hit. He said you could see the door of the church being sucked out. They immediately kneelt on the floor in the middle of the building and hugged each other and prayed. She said that debris flew all around them, and a bunch of chairs piled on top of them, but that the chairs seem to protect them. She had a cell phone and when it was over, called for help and the sheriff and people dug them out. They were taken to the hospital but released... it was a miracle they were alive and unharmed as the church was completed destroyed. I hope you have a nice day! Sincerely, June

I am posting about your cactus Echinopsis Variegata. Where did you find such a nice plant?
I have been looking for a long time for this one, and I can't seem to find one for sale or even someone willing to trade with me. (I have 34 Schick hybrids). Please email me at: mr_firefly@yahoo.com
If you can direct me to a supplier or if you can help me with a trade.
Thank you so much...

Hello my cactus loving friend! Thanks for stopping by my "Cactus in desert gardens part one" album! I appreciate the information you gave me on the Myrtillocactus geometrizans, and the Opuntia azurea! I did the best I could to try and identify the various species using books from the library! It's Great to have an expert like you to correct me, and to help identify the cacti that I could not! The large saguaro's cost thousands of dollars! I'm guessing the one you asked about cost more than ten thousand dollars! If I drive by the nursery some time, I'll stop in and ask about the pricing! By the way, what is your name? Have a wonderful week, and weekend, my friend! I'll try to stop by for a visit to your albums in the near future! Ciao, John:)
