Endlich fand ich Bilder aus meiner Jugend (Hannover, Celle, Steinhuder Meer). Meine Grossmutter lebte in Lachendorf und als Kinder besuchten wir sie jeden Sommer. Nun lebe ich seit 40 Jahren in Kanada, aber ich freue mich immer ueber Bilder aus der Heimat. Marion

Schade, dass es nicht moeglich ist, einen Kommentar direkt unter die Fotos bzw. die Alben zu schreiben. Mir haben Deine Bilder von Posdam und Hannover sehr gut gefallen - diese beiden Städte kenne ich schon ein bisschen. Potsdam steht im Fruehjahr wieder auf dem Plan, von hier aus ist es bloss ein Katzensprung - etwa 1 1/2 Stunden mit dem Zug. Nun werde ich mir auch Deine anderen alben anseh'n... Blaubeuen and Blautopf - what memories they invoke from our trip through there in 1990 . My few 35 mm film photos do not do justice to the place . Hannover also , for on all my visits during the 1990's not one picture . Digital cameras have certainly made it for me. Thanks you Hughb70

Ein glueckliches Neues Jahr 2009 aus Australien, wuensche ich. Vielen Dank auch fuer letztes Jahr's Neu-Jahr Gruesse. Als ich die Nachricht sah, war schon ein halbes Jahr vorbei. It was a pleasure to travel in Germany thank to all these beautiful albums. Potsdam album is my favourite. I had a lucky chance to visit it in 1974. It is a pity there were no digital cameras at that time.Windmills came from fairy-tales. Best wishes and more beautiful shots.
