hello. I've admired your photos for some years now and want to know if you would post up your photos of St. Peter's in Rome once more. They were spectacular. My computer crashed and I lost everything; I've been trying to replace my most treasured images. Sure would appreciate it knowing I could download a copy one day.

Hi Brent, how is the business going? What are you ding in your studio? We have about 6 inches of snow, winds gusting to 40 mph and then to top it all off, last night we got a freezing rain storm, just to make sure I have to put on chains to get to work tomorrow morning! Yes, those UPS packages are still calling me to be sure they get delivered before Christmas!. Speaking of Christmas, have a blessed Christmas season, keeping Jesus himself as the center of it. Brent, I fully understand what you are going through. I've been trying to get my own business off the ground for the past six months. I made one good sale and got instantly hooked. Unfortunately, I'm finding out (very brutally) that it certainly takes money to make more money in this business and with the economy going the way it is, there ain't much of that stuff just lying around. I've come to realize that taking good photographs is just the approach to the rabbit hole. The marketing/financing is the real leap into the unknown void. It will definitely make or break you. I've just been very discouraged with it and with Webshots lately... believe me, you really haven't missed a whole lot around here in your absence. At least it provides a limited source of exposure. On a brighter note, it is always good to hear from you when you do drop by. Also, I think I'm posting some of my best photographs yet but until that moneytree takes root, I guess we'll just have to call it all a hobby. Again, congratulations on that stunning Picture of the Day! Clark

Hiiii Brent!!!! Do me a favor, okay??? Never EVER take your photos down!!! Pleeezzeee??? Whenever I feel like I must be going blind ... I come here to rest and refresh my eyes!! I've got gizmos coming out of the ears of this computer of mine that are supposed to calibrate and tweak, but everyone's monitors are sooo different. I'm not the only one who comes here to see your images and judge our contrast and color accordingly!!! Sooo ... no matter how busy you get with your new photography venture ... SIT!! I feel SO MUCH excitement about every facet of this amazing hobby ... and it's pretty hard to contain when no one in my real life has a "clue." To be a frustrated writer doesn't help either, I guess! Deeeear Brent!!! There's no question ... I'M STILL the student and will be for quite some time!! Just the minute I think I've got a grip on one of my camera's buttons, my finger slips and I realize it also does something totally different!!! And NOW!!!
