  • Yes, Savegre Lodge, with quetzals next to the hatchery. We probably hit the same places. I see you were at Arenal and Sarapiqui also. Tortuguero? Except for incessant rain (in March) hampering photography, it was a great trip. I was a professor too, until last December when I retired. More travel photography in my plans now.

  • Mike, It was a wonderful surprise yesterday when I discovered one of my photos of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis was the POTD. Thank you for your kind words. Much appreciated. I don't know if you follow Operation Migration - the whooping cranes following the ultra light from WS to FL. I am so disappointed that they had to leave the birds in AL. They refused to fly after a lengthy delay. I was all set to go to the little local airport for the flyover. Maybe next year's class will cooperate better.

  • Thanks for stopping by my site. I have just moved to Slippery Rock Pennsylvania and many of photos will now be from that location. The water fall is about 5 miles from my home.
