Hello bfivecoate, I have a Singer Model 15-30 from 1911 with Tiffany decals that I am currently restoring. The ones you pictured are exactly what I need to Photo-Shop new ones for the machine. Could you send me the Pictures you made in .jpg format? I would greatly appreciate it.
Hello,
I’m D.G. Dayarathna from Sri Lanka and the owner of a very old antique sewing machine which we believe is the oldest sewing machine in the world. A gold color coin like attachment indicates the manufacturer as Willcox and Gibbs Sewing Machine Co. New York. Herewith I’m sending you the picture of this machine as an attachment along with this e-mail message for your consideration. I inherited this wonderful masterpiece (sewing machine) from my grandfather who cared so much for it to survive till to the present day. I am not intending to sell this very valuable machine for a price but would like to present it to a museum or private collection.
I would like to present it to a museum or private collection as an exhibit for the future generation. I believe this precious antique sewing machine is an ideal exhibit for a world famous museum.
Also I would wish to know what benefits I would obtain by presenting this exhibit. This could be for the support of my social standard either in your country or Sri Lanka. I would appreciate your involvement and help in this matter.
Regarding this matter I wish to sincerely thank you for your kind consideration and appreciate to work out my proposal to your institute.
Yours truly,
Mr. Dayarathna. (dayarathnad@yahoo.com)
