Kia ora Angela Oh my goodness...I have been struggling for 3 years to find a female Basenji puppy. I know the annual litter is an issue, and so is the relative rarity of the breed in NZ, but do you have any suggestions for breeders (apart from Senjabi in Rangiora, whose recent litter is 4 boys!!!) I have even taken to following a somewhat alarmed woman in Auckland who had a lovely elderly boy Basenji in her car!! I have no intention of showing, so am no threat to some of the stunning wee examples I have seen. I have no major prefernece for tri, red/white or black/white. I just LOVE the breed and am quite prepared to wait...but 3 years is a long time! Warm regards Tanya Thorogood
